I've been a traditional bow hunter my whole life. I've never owned a compound. I have heaps of recurves and longbows. My sons want a compound and now I'm shopping for one. Yes, I'm gonna get me one too.... Thanks for this video..... A LOT, a lot!!! I mean it from the bottom of my quiver 😁👍

I’ve got a strothers wrath sho that is in excellent shape. Is it worth upgrading to a new bow now or would I not really see a big improvement?
grew up shooting Hoyt & PSE in the 90s, 2 years ago got back into it with a Diamond Edge SB1- LOVE this bow... Next purchase- Bowtech Solution! great video
The problem I have with the spreadsheet is that much of the data came from the bow manufacturer's websites, without being independently verified by you all. The two areas where bow manufacturers usually "fudge" bow data are the weight and speed.

Bowtech Solution SS and then the Hoyt Ventum 30 for my 2 favorites
For me definitely Hoyt torrex xt fastest as ventum without breaking wallet

I bought a new pse last year and while I love it I wish I held off for the bear this year
I know the look of the bow should be a lower priority, but until Hoyt drops that arm guard/bridge thing I wont even pick one up.
looking at the cost of the new flagship Bows from most companies is probably why I still hunt with a 2011 PSE axe6 and a 2019 (I believe was the last year for Parker) Parker poison 30.
I shot a split limb bow when split limbs werent cool.LOL. It was a Golden Eagle Lite Speed 2, would still be shooting it but the top limb exploded on me on fall.

PSE for the win!
Ok so I'm somewhat new to compound bows so I do have a lot to learn. That said on bows like the Ventum other reviewers show that bow doing close to 300 fps but you claim it does 240. Also if you use a longer draw wouldn't you in turn get higher speeds. Chris bee shows a v3 70 lb pull 27 inch pull pushing a 500 grain arrow across the Chrono at over 270fps.
I guess my question is did you test any of these bows yourself or just regurgitate the factory specs?
Well I lost my right to own a firearm so om looking for a good powerful bow. Can any of these take a bear down?

@@BowHunterPlanet i would imagine all the bows at that price point should be pretty good. Probably comes down to personal preferences and any brand loyalty.

V3 draw cycle is terrible,worst of top brands
The solution series of bows are far from impressive. Dont know if you are paid to say they are or not but Bowtech released a turd this year. It's ok it happens. Not every bow can be a winner. Do not lie to people.
Say what? Bowtech does not pay me to say anything. . This bow is by far one of the best bows for 2021. Not sure what you consider a good bow but we agree to DISAGREE :) Good Day Sr.
@@BowHunterPlanet No the EVL is a good bow, the Hoyt offerings are good, The Prime bows are good. The solution series draws harsher than need be giving the speed they produce. The hold is not good the balance sucks. But what do I know I've only shot more bowtechs and for more years than you've been alive. News flash every company puts out a crap product every now and then. How you can say on camera with a straight face the solution is a great bow I don't understand. They arnt as good as the reign or the realm series. Not even close.
