I really wish everytime they let youtubers feature these games they would have pre orders available.. they would already have my money.. games like the crust and manor lords would already have my money now.. 😅
I played the demo and this is so much fun! im curious why you are only sending 1 spark to each resource? more not only harvests faster, but they bring more back to you so you dont have to pick it up.
You mentioned earlier that it was problematic to have them going in opposite directions after you closed a path loop, and that can be true or false. In that scenario you had the sparks collect wood, take it to the stumpy crafter and any excess taken to the sawing benches, thus the last sawing bench would not get wood until both the stumpy crafter and the 1st sawing bench were full. If, however, you left the loop connected with sparks going opposite directions you would have given equal priority to the sawing benches as to the stumpy crafter and you could also have not only doubled your wood transport speed but also minimized the post-drop-off delay to next load pick up. As a note with keeping the path looped, you could have had the sparks going the same direction on both sides of the path, the inside and outside sides. In short, for highest throughput of items, a loop is 2 paths in one so always use closed loop paths with at least 2 sparks. You can have the sparks travel those paths in a simplex(1 way) or duplex( 2 way) way as needed for the specific path.
Unfortunately, the early access release changed the way sparks interact with buildings - they only interact with buildings on their right. In the video, you can see that the sparks traveling clockwise do not pick up or drop off any wood because there are no buildings on their right. However, he could still have called back those sparks and set them in the right direction to speed up production.
The crafty sparks are for machines, like you said.. You can only add two to a machine, so don't see how you don't think it's worth it, two upgraded ones are always better than two standard one and you do want your machines to work faster right? Don't really follow the logic
i was waiting to see what this game looks like now. i saw the demo before. it looks cool. and i'm excited for multiplayer. p.s. orbital. speaking of multiplayer... have you considered a orbital+friend multi on this one? or something like Kebab Chefs?
Looks really good! Love the art
loved this demo, looking forward to when the game launches

Love the content, keep it up!
Noticed the link for the game to the steam store is missing though ;)
Comrade Potato is the quirkiest dictator our communist republic has ever known.
They nerfed the crafty sparks? They were basically 2x more effective at crafting the last time I played the demo.
Looks like Overlord but with automation. I miss the minions.
i was thinking Pikmin but okay

So it's a pikmin automation game
hope come to Consoles 😅
You spend WAY too much time running around picking stuff up. Just toss a few extra sparks at the resources and let them go and puck them up for you.
Art is fantastic. But the gameplay seems basic and boring. The swarm is visually satisfying but basically it is a timed pickup resource mechanism.

You never know!
