This was a great cast, but no one in it was better than young Thatcher Jacobs as Jason (shown here in the very first shot). Unfortunately, very little of his performance can be seen in the brief clips that have been posted on line.

i think you’re just used to the revival. Everyone in this cast is talented in their own merit and fit into the role, if in a different way to the revival. I think they are extremely talented to be able to bring together this musical at all.
