I was reading “Is Atheism Dead?” by Eric Metaxas last night and marveling that scientists of integrity can no longer deny the Creator in spite of what atheistic oligarchs are now trying to do to control us and force us to deny the fact. Then, this morning, I saw these videos by Pastor Begg and, like the icing on the cake, your beautiful comment, Mary. I believe October is not just a secular distortion of a once holy day, but also Reformation Month. May we celebrate it as such. We have a niece, born in San Salvador but now a student of reform theology in Houston, who, as a small child, recited the account from Luke which is central to Pastor Begg’s message. Tears fall from my eyes, tears of grieving for loved ones who still deny truth, in spite of having heard that recitation, and tears of thanksgiving and joy that God loves us so much. May God bless you and your loved ones.
It occurs to me that Jesus, as a normal kid, would have experienced the same things all kids do... other stupid kids, sibling rivalry, etc. To think that he came through that without sinning is pretty amazing in itself.
At 12 Jesus is 21 years from His death, which is 7 years times 3. 12 is divisible by 3. His age at death is 33, which is divisible by three. He rose after 3 days. It's numerically perfect.
Question for the audience: Why were the holy names and titles of the Father, and of His Son, and of the Ruach HaKodesh changed (God, Jesus, Lord, Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost) in the Bible? I honestly would like to know.
Jesus had to be born of a virgin, and could not have the seed of Adam. Thus by one man's sin entered into the world, that sin plunged all of creation and humanity into the need of a sinless redeeming Savior. Can we even imagine what it woukd be like to be born without a sin nature in our bodies? Not having to struggle with impure thoughts and words, lying or disrespect, and coveting that come so naturally to us. There is a disadvantage in viewing Jesus's childhood through the lens of sinful man, because even though he was human, He did not have a sin nature. I am sure Jesus was also pointing out in the OT, all of the references and examples of this coming Messiah they were looking forward to.
This message was nothing short of awesome! Thank you Alistair
FULLY MAN & FULLY GOD! Just think of such humility that GOD HIMSELF fell down & scraped his knees as a boy before HE fell under HIS CROSS for us!!!!!
Amen

Also the 4 of 3x4=12 and the 7 of 7x3 is 21 is the 11 (4+7) x 3= 33, looking at it that way.
Why eleven 3s?

But the 21 years from this 12 years old Jesus is three 7s. God's seal. I'm sure this means nothing. Just staying busy as I listen to Brother Begg. Lol
