Out of their 6 albums. Not a single bad song. And thats on God. The difference between Creed and Alter Bridge is literally Myles Kennedy. And their music is not even the same. Their first album One Day Remains sounds similar to Creed but only because Mark Tremonti had it all pretty much written while Creed was still together. But from the Blackbird album to now Creed is just history! They're their own sound! And absolutely incredible!

@@TheHeath68 Yeah, but I think Stapp has a lot of mending to do with the guys before that can happen. Mark isn't going to speak ill of the guy, but Stapp caused quite a few issues and stirred old dramas during that Full Circle tour. I think he owes Myles an apology to if he hasn't already.
I still love Scott Stapp's voice and love his solo stuff as well but if Creed never gets back together that is fine by me. As long as AB keeps pumping out excellent songs and even Myles and Mark's solo stuff is great. Hell, I even started listening to Slash's stuff more since Myles is doing all the voice! The singer completes the band and Myles does that!
So happy AB is finally getting the recognition they deserve!

Let me correct my previous statement by adding the guitar battles between the two have been MOST EPIC! I sometimes get bias cause I've followed Mr. Tremonti since 97 and when everyone else would party after shows, Mark would head to the bus to practice.Ive watched his homegrown progression and have admired seeing an example of work hard and it paying off GREATLY.With that said.....MOST do not know ,or probably expect that Myles does JUST as much face melting on ALTERBRIDGE as Tremonti!......Like since day one!
I know at my first show I went to it SURPRISED The Heck out of me to see THAT! Myles has such a meek deminor ,you'd never guess that He ALSO MELTS FACES JUST AS WELL!😨

Check out Waters Rising by AB. Tremonti does leads throughout most of the song. Tremonti also has a solo band (named Tremonti as well) and it has VERY heavy riffs and powerful vocals from Mark, I'd recommend doing You Waste Your Time first. There is also a band called Projected which has the guitarist (doing vocals) and bassist of Sevendust, drummer of Creed and AB, and guitarist of Tremonti's solo together. Sevendust and AB are close and collab a lot. Sorry if this is an overload of info lol
Agreed! You should definitely check out some of Tremonti's work! As much as I LOVE Alter Bridge, Tremonti's stuff is just better in my opinion

Myles Kennedy does solo work and so does Tremonti. You can listen to them separately (Songbird - Myles Kennedy and Cauterize - Tremonti) and hear how you would get Alter Bridge from them. Alter Bridge is the most underrated band in the history of bands.

IMO, Alter Bridge is the improve version of Creed for two main reasons. The change of vocalist: They finished the stigma of a "Pearl Jam alike band" and Myles Kennedy is one of the best singer of all times; and the additional guitar: It gives more depth to all the songs (you can feel the difference of the first album and the others for that detail)...

I remember seeing Alter Bridge when they came to town. Mark Tremonti is one of the guitarists I look up to.
My brother and I go to every concert from AB when they play in Germany. It began with the album Fortress and it was MINDBLOWING. They are f*cking amaaazing live! Cry of achilles was also played and blew everyone of us away - as well as Water's rising 😍

As much as you love Myles's voice, you should listen to his solo project. Just start with "Year of the Tiger" and go from there. It's different, but phenomenal!
I'd highly recommend their live videos of Words Darker Than Their Wings and Addicted To Pain at the Royal Albert Hall. Also not sure if you've covered it yet but these dudes used to be Creed. These guys have been one of my favorite bands since they formed and I'm glad to see them get some love on your channel.

Alter Bridge's most recent album is Walk the Sky which came out in 2019 I think. This album, Fortress, is their best album from what I've heard of them. The song Fortress is right up there with this song and Blackbird, imo.

In my professional Alter Bridge fan opinion, the song you would love the most is Calm the Fire from this same album Fortress. It’s not their most popular or biggest banger but it has everything you need. Trust me.

"Is there a bad song?...." No. There is not. AlterBridge are the best. They are my all time favourite band for a reason lol. You need to check out 'Open Your Eyes' from the One Day Remains album, 'All Ends Well' from the Fortress album and 'My Champion' from The Last Hero, you won't regret it. Plus, if your interested, Mark Tremonti also formed another band a few years back called Tremonti alongside Wolfgang Van Halen, Eric Friedman and Garett Whitlock. They have a very different sounds as Mark Tremonti is the lead vocalist, but they are also fantastic. Check out 'So You're Afraid', 'Brains' and 'Another Heart'. Enjoy.

Alter Bridge dropped a new album at the end of last year, called 'Walk The Sky'. I highly recommend 'Wouldn't you Rather' or 'Dying Light'.
Creed disbanded due to their vocalist Scott Stapp’s issues back then with other members of the group and due to his own personal demons. Tremonti and Phillips got in touch with Marshall to start a new band with a new name. Being fans of Myles’ work in The Mayfield Four (great band check them out), they got him to be their singer for Alter Bridge. AB’s first album sounds a lot like Creed’s style (with the exception of Metalingus) and it’s not surprising considering that it could’ve been material for Creed’s potential 4th album at the time. They faced criticism at first for being “Creed with a different singer”, especially in the states. However in Europe, Creed rarely, if ever, did tours over there so AB was completely new to Europe and as a result, is much more
known there. But ever since their second album Blackbird, they’ve sounded drastically different from anything Creed ever did. 6 AB albums currently and each are fantastic and unique. Their side projects: Tremonti, Myles and Slash, Projected, and Myle’s solo material are all great. And even Myles’ way earlier work in Cosmic Dust and Citizen Swing show the range that man has musically. Imo, Creed disbanding was the best thing that ever happened to them because it made them so much better as a group and individually. They have so much material and they’ve yet to make a bad song imo

If you like the guitars, look up "Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad". It's just the band playing, no vocals, just Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy shredding on their guitars with Scott and Brian playing along. Since you mentioned the Mexican sounding bit, you'd really like that song. It has a part with an acoustic guitar that almost sounds like bull fighting music.
You should listen to Coming Home or The End is Here both by Alter Bridge. In my opinion both underrated songs.
As a fan of theirs since their first album, there is no bad song. But you should check out their crossover with Sevendust. Hope by Sevendust is with Mark Tremonti, Sorrow by Sevendust is with Myles Kennedy. Both amazing songs.
The answer is no. Amazing lyrics and incredible chemistry and musicianship. Mark interviewed many new lead singers. Myles was obviously the best. The first album was only mark on guitar. He didn't even know Myles played guitar till he heard him playing jazz in his hotel room.

The difference of the two groups are the lead singers Myles Kennedy was not in creed. This band absolutely kills it.
