To get the names I would use my cricut to cut out the name in vinyl…. There are several ways you can do it. Either add the vinyl name after you art, or add the vinyl as a stencil before you art then peal the vinyl off. I hope this makes sense.

This is my 2nd attempt on a cup and when I put the alcohol ink on it separates from the resin and half of my cup is white with bunched up resin and the other half of my cup looks nice I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Do you have any suggestions??

I have a question! I use self leveling resin which works great but every time I try this method, it dries SUPER wavy and almost unsandable. What am I doing wrong?
I’m a tumbler wholesaler in china we are having hot selling 20oz sublimation skinny tumbler or straight tumbler the moq is 50pcs and the packing is white box the delivery time in general is 30-45 day.
Piñata Inks (by Jacquard) has a white ink. It’s not a pure alcohol ink; they have to add tint to it to make it white. Works perfectly for a process like this one.

The epoxy I use for this is really ‘slow to cure’… it give more working time for this method. You can always add a little heat with a heat gun to get things flowing too… just be careful as it heats quickly!

Sorry.. no I don’t. The names are cut out with a Cricut and then I use alcohol ink… once dry I peel the name off.

Did you not put any heat on it such as a heat gun or torch?
I didn’t use heat because I was using a slow-cure Art resin. It takes a long time to cure (dry) so it keeps flowing without heat.
Witch colour you used watar colours or oil paint?
These are alcohol inks… not paint.

Where do you buy the white alcohol ink? I can never find white.

At what point is it too late to continue adding inks?
In this case ‘less is more’.. if you add too much ink it will all start blending together and turn brown. Keep it simple. ☺️

Why didn’t you use the heat ?
The art resin I use doesn’t require heat. It’s slow cure, so it moves without heat.
