- This is Part one of a Week long Himalayan Birding Expedition.
we traveled to different parts of the Eastern Himalayan Region in Mid April 2019. Documented and filmed different bird species at various Altitudes. this particular part was filmed at Okhrey and Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, at an altitude of 10000ft.

😊🙏🏼 Lovely narration and presentation indeed. I would like to place an humble suggestion. Names of the Birds Super-imposed on the video needs to be made more conspicuous by using bigar, bolder & contrast colour fonts in respect to the background.
At some places I found it quite difficult to read the names of birds.
This little alteration I believe would make it more, more gallant & more attractable.

A nice vlog...very few vlogs are available on the bird life of Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary...& we also stayed in the same home stay in Okhrey & got the same birds.....

Amazing shots! Which gear did you use here? and how did you get so close?
Bird clips and shots were taken with nikon D3300 body with 200-500 mm lens. I prefer to wait for the birds rather than chasing them and trying to get close.

What is the best time to visit here for birding..
It depends, if you wish to see the Rhododendrons, late April to June would be best time. For birding February - March is most preferred time.

I went to Sikkim in April 2019.
As it is the best time to see the rhododendrons.
Are all of these photos not edited or did you crop them. Just about croping since I want some info about the range of the Nikkor 200-500mm lens . Pls reply me it will help me much . Thank you
