As much as I love the song I hate the way that everyone started judging Kurt after saying he didn't believe in God and how some of them tried to push their religion onto him because they thought he was just confused.

And it's sweet that she doesn't believe because her sister didn't have an easy life, but then she kind of... concedes at the end. Man, how much can perspective change with just a few years.

They weren’t pushing their religions on him though, they were just using their spirituality singing over his dad; as someone who’s experienced lots of trauma, when things this dire happen and you feel completely hopeless, you do whatever you can to feel like you’re doing SOMETHING to help.

It’s so bold and empowering. like I’m watching a movie and Rachel is the Disney princess projecting her powerhouse vocals throughout the world. I can't fault her vocals, they are beautiful. I prefer Barbara's still, although this was the first version I saw. I have to say, having seen now the scene from Yentl, Barbara is a far better actress and shows much more depth of emotion through both vocal and facial expressions.
