- Australia as you know is a very big country, bigger than India. But it has only 7 major cities and population equal to the size of Chennai. Rest is all desert, 95% of the people live on the coastal lines.
We moved to Melbourne in 2017 and it’s a permanent shift from India.
Apart from Melbourne, the major cities we visited in Australia are Sydney, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Launceston. We’ve did a fair amount of road trips inside Victoria (the state in which Melbourne belongs). We would be more than happy to guide & help you when you plan a trip Down under.

It depends on which part of Australia you are going to move. For example Brisbane & NT, you get Tropical weather, more suitable to grow Banana & Mango. Down in Melbourne, it is difficult. You need to grow it indoors for a couple of years, then move it outside. We have got 5 now in our backyard!

Hello Uncle, Glad to know that you are here for the T20 matches. Australia has plenty of Indian restaurants, so vegetarian food shouldn't be a problem. If you are into other International cuisines, There are Pizzas, pastas and rice options as well.
Can you let me know to which city you are going. Based on that I can recommend some restaurants.

In Melbourne, if you are staying in CBD, then Saravana Bhavan is walkable. Also there is Chilli India(my fav) and MMS Mirchi Madras Streat
Sydney is the biggest city and with the traffic it will be difficult to get to a vegetarian restaurant. Plenty of North Indian restaurants close to Town hall. That will be your go to place.
As far as Adelaide, North terrace is the street where you can find all the Indian restaurants. Taste of South India serves authentic tamil food.
In Perth, Dosa Xpress is a vegetarian option, also Aachi Indian cuisine will be your tamil option
