I remember watching him help that young lady choose a new bow and they kept her from knowing the brand names to keep it unbiased for her but the majority of the video she was preferring the Hoyt and he tried the whole video to persuade her to choose the Mathews with subtle comments sprinkled in here or there😂

Maybe I missed it somewhere and if I did let me know. Love watching your bow reviews even if I'm not in the market for one to just see what people came out with for the year. Would it be possible on these bow videos that when the news ones drop you put up a master list at the end of the video to show what the bows rank against the others. Thanks and keep up the awesome reviews!

I’m not bagging on your reviews but your second shot with the rx8 on the vibration was 6 something. The camera was on the reader and when you shot that was the number and when you moved it went to 12. I think you may want to record the reader at the shot and then review the footage for the number. May give you different reading on those bows you thought read high and felt great.

3 Days ago @ our local range a friend who just back to archery after a 20 yr lay off… anyways he picked up a fully loaded rx8 shot it for 3 months no glitches 👌🏾however 3 days ago ?
While we both were practicing at 70 I saw him take a last shot then we took a short 5 minute break..well after the break we went back to shooting however when he went to draw his bow? He noticed the string was slacked and twisted on the top cam…
After closer inspection the top cam mod screw sheered off causing loosening twisting of both mods binding on the top and bottom limbs…. 🤫🤔my buddy never once dry fired the bow and was using correct spined 340 arrow arrow @ 70 lbs 420 grains🤷‍♂️true story in 6/12/24

So is the carbon RX8 going to be $3,000 this year? And the aluminum one has to be at least 1500. These bow companies need to get their prices in check. • @DK_1983

Hmmm are you always shooting the carbon one first and then the aluminium one if you look back? Maybe its just that lol.. Like first bow you had 100% energy, but then after few shots you go down to 90% energy and now you change bow and draw that and it feels like its harder maybe.
Otherwise the logical answer would be that the carbon one maybe is so soft it actually contracts (tiny bit, bringing the limbs closer together) when you pull it making it weaker poundage just in that moment until its drawn, then the let off takes over and lessens the strain on the riser again bringing it back to "normal". And the aluminium one is then harder and wont contract as much, or even, and all the way through the pull its staying the same poundage. But I never had a carbon bow. So I dont know how stiff/solid they actually are. Im about to maybe get one.. between either alpha x33 rx8 or rx7 atm (so thx for these videos, they are great, im studying em rly close).
Back to point. But I would acuse the energy level first if you are shooting the carbon bow first always. But if its something physical then that is the only place there can be a difference (for something that drastic feeling). Bc it cant be the limbs... Cant be fittings/cams (as you said, they are the same). So it has to be in the riser/design/something if the phenomena is legit. And we already know there is a difference in the materials. So is the "logic" place. Just my thoughts tho.

Does the aluminum bow offer flex where the carbon doesn’t? I’ve felt that before, and went the the rx7. Seems like there’s some “power loss” on the draw for aluminum flexing more and the carbon transferring everything without flexing.

Great reviews as usual. Just curious as to what type of
    target you are shooting into??

I feel opposite. I think the alluminum draws smoother

Physical holding weight will change ever so slightly the draw cycle feeling, in my opinion and experience

Yes but the lighter the bow the stiffer the cycle will feel. That’s opposite of what he’s getting. All in his head IMO

Could the difference be the weight increase on your extended arm along with the added stiffness.

If you put the stuby on the x it might even be more vib free

Noticed the same different in carbon vs aluminum. Carbon seems easier to draw... maybe something to do with the riser material? who knows, my IQ isn't rated enough ha

Could the pressure on the front of the riser from your fingers effect the vibration numbers more pressure lower numbers or vice versa?

  • @dangdang8106
    @dangdang8106 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

It could be because the biw itself is lighter and your not holding as much weight out in front of you

Do you have notes on vibration on the rx5 and rx7 and sounds decibel to compare? Thank for your comments

Can someone explain why reflex is an issue? Ive never heard of it being addressed until i started watching these review videos a month or so ago. Even other reviews I've seen, it isn't mentioned. He says forgiveness, but what makes it unforgiving? Thanks in advance!

Are you going to review APA bows? Curious

I was wondering if it matters how hard you hold the bow when doing the vibration test
