Insightful - sir I might be wrong but I think what differentiates a 100%ilers and others is more about the behaviour, like in the QA section. (The competence gap is there but the behaviour gap i believe is significantly higher)
So true! It was so easy to underperform in quant after that performance in VARC and DILR. But experience told me that I could offset a weak sectional performance by a good job in quant so didn’t give up. I believe attitude and temperament matter a lot more than knowledge at the CAT. All the mentors I know share everything they have gathered over the years and don’t hold back. So it’s certainly not a few secret formulas or shortcuts that nobody would know of.
Haha. I generally perform decently well in the live sessions. It’s better to voice my thoughts and that I am doing it in front of a live audience brings out the best in me, I suppose. Didn’t get off to a great start today so guess the pressure kept on piling up. The next one should be much smoother!
Both are equally good from what I have seen. There will surely be some easier AIMCATs and some difficult SIMCATs so they should be balanced in general. Go for the one that’s giving you the better deal and the one that your friends might not have so that you can experience both.
Sir, why haven't you choose or look for easier sets or questions in this Mock.. both in lrdi and qa.. you have just started with what comes ahead ... is this a good strategy?
It depends on the familiarity of the sets for me. If it’s extremely unfamiliar only then will I move ahead to the next one. Both in QA and LRDI, I didn’t get stuck in the first set or the first few questions so decided to go ahead with the flow. I’m LRDI if you look at the first set, I realised mid way that it wasn’t making much sense to focus on accuracy so decided to wing it and take some intelligent bets. This strategy would work if you have a good hold on concepts and have solved a wide range of questions during your prep journey. If you are definitely not comfortable with certain concepts or question types, best to move ahead to something familiar than to get stuck.
Hi sir i scoring somewhere in 20 to 3os in simcat quant and dilr but in varc scoring below 15 marks most of the time is it just simact varc is tough our may be i should start ti focus on crossing varc sectional and many people sat that qunat in simcat is easy is this case true if how can i judge my prep in terms of qunat i should ensure to get 98 to 99 in quant
The entirety of the section won’t be tough/ambiguous. You will find at least 7-8 questions that you should have been able to manage easily without any guesswork. The problem I believe is over attempting the ones you aren’t sure about. Try to get into the mindset of preferring quality over quantity especially when it comes to a tougher section and you should be okay. Your reasoning skills are certainly not an issue considering your scores in the other two sections so would just suggest that you be a bit more selective.
Yeah. Quality wise I don’t think they are that different compared to SIMCATs or AIMCATs. In terms of the number of takers, the others would rank higher.
Nothing to be afraid of. It’s just a test 😅 I’m sure you can spot a lot more questions that you should be able to solve than what you are doing right now.
Worrying won’t help improve your performance na. There will always be options open for you and you will realise maybe 10 years down the line that the name of the institute that you did you MBA from matters little once you are in your second/third job. So don’t put additional pressure on yourself to perform. Enjoy your prep, try looking at one question at a time instead of the repercussions of getting a low score on your career and future prospects. Do your best at all the tests and then evaluate your options. That’s when you decide how your career is going to pan out. All the best!
quants was looking on the easier side i was also solving quants with you,i hardly able to do 5questions in mocks but i dont know i was solving this with you without pen paper lol i scored like 30+ easily in quants. or i thinks because i am not in pressure that why i was doing good. whats you take, was it easy?
U have a godly attention span sir
Terrific comeback, Sir!
Sir please take the lrdi questions of this mock in separate video as you Image was covering the soln and hence wasn't able to get any properly
Will try to do this soon 👍🏽

So igot know one thing even mentors dont perform everything correct in and great in mocks . Great very beneficail video sir

i felt like the quant section was easier to compared to average of CL mocks, is it actually the case?
Not in general I think. All of CL, TIME and IMS will have comparable QA sections.
@@Point99_CAT_MBA May you also give a CL mock for your attempt strategy, WIll be of great help.
His time moves slower than mine. No way it doesn't
Haha! I wish it moved even slower
Sir ims vs time which mock should i prefer .i think time mock is tougher than actual cat ?

Sir please make video on some expected dilr sets which can can come in cat exam 😊
That’s in the pipeline, Mihir. Will try to do it in the coming month.
Sir make a video on Aimcat 2511, i hope your approaches could clear my doubts...
Hi, can you let me know the questions that you found difficult? Maybe I can cover those instead of the entire mock

@Point99_CAT_MBA thank you sir i will apply this thing in varc from next mock onwards
Sir cl mocks are equally good as time or ims ?
Yeah. Quality wise I don’t think they are that different compared to SIMCATs or AIMCATs. In terms of the number of takers, the others would rank higher.
Sir i am not the only one who is afraid of AIMCATs...hardly 2 questions are correct.

Sorry I missed this comment. The questions seemed to be slightly more technical so if you are a prepared aspirant, definitely on the manageable side.
Please make a detailed solving of these 4 dilr sets
Hi, we will try to do it 👍🏽
You left ims?
Yes, I’m no longer with IMS.
@@Point99_CAT_MBAshashank sir i am scoring around 15 marks in varc simcat on an average can it go to 30 on cat day ? Any possibility??
Definitely yes. Would suggest you go through a few past papers or check out a couple of mocks from other providers as well to get a better picture.
Yeh time ka mock hai asani se ni hota 😂
Haha. It was definitely a tough one! I should have done a lot better though
