But shouldn´t it be easy to give them at least close to the same funding as what the medicare program gets per person? I mean the medicare program is even able to save because of the huge amount of people it covers. The deals they get are just way better. The natives still get around 1/4 of the amount of funding per person though. Thats just inherently wrong. Or did I misunderstand parts of the video?

They'd probably be more than happy 9000$ as they seem to be able to make way more out of that money. But forming a contract promising them free healthcare and than spending around a quarter per person compared to the average doesn't seem fair or right.

Worked 4 yrs in IHS clinics as Healthcare provider. Horrendous experience. IHS clinics suffer from their own corruption. Staff and patients suffer due to evil management and greedy board members. Literally native patients are pushed aside in the schedule to make insurance money (government gives extra reimbursement to tribal clinics) from non native patients. As an employee you lose your rights, lose your job security and will be taken advantage of. There's no dignity, compassion nor fairness, just nepotism and back stabbing.

Government management needs to be reformed, no corporate interest/ self interest should exist in the governing and management of public initiatives. Citizens fund the government and the government properly allocates these funds for the citizens. Currently at least 75% of government funds are channeled to private corporate pockets as wasteful spending.
