The difference in the way Matt looks between the time this song came out and now…..wow. I saw them at the House of blues right after Chocolate came out. Matt looked like a middle schooler up on stage. Those were some great shows.
1:35 What does that even mean? Not something you want to blurt out in the middle of the song man, but I could be wrong. I assume the crowd was contorting their bodies in the shape of some long lost form of communication.
I've always wondered about the legality of posting videos like this. Surely posting pirate videos and then earning revenue from it (via ads) is stealing from the owners - in this case the 1975 would be the validated owners. If someone recorded the concert and made pirate DVD'd and/or CD's the 1975 or even their record comapny would issue an injunction to stop it. Isn't this the same thing?
"Surely posting pirate videos and then earning revenue from it (via ads) is stealing from the owners" TH-cam would have marked this video with a copyright claim within hours of upload. The music label will be collecting the ad revenue. Not the uploader. The rights holder has two choices: 1) take down the video, or 2) let the video accumulate views and just make money from it. The latter is what many do. This way they promote the artist in concert *and* collect ad revenue from the views.

I thought he was criticizing his younger songwriting days. "we're never gonna quit it no we're never gonna quit it."
This is cute, but I like Matthew Healy's version better.
