I saw this interview on air when it was screend the other week. Madonna is looking absoloutely STUNNING at the moment. She looks so fresh and gorgeous. It's like Madonna circa 1985, IMMACULATE!
She is so free and real in this interview which I LOVE, bless you Madge +

I've always loved Madonna. She cares so much; the love she has for the world and for others is genuine.

See, people don't appreciate the good stuff. We have stupid pop stars being idolized for nothing more than weird costumes, and we don't appreciate this amazing woman. thank God Madonna is around. She has brains to think about issues, and she has the balls to speak her mind. But she's the only one out there, all the other "artists" are only entertainment, but they don't really teach you anything. Madonna is a rare gem.

She didn't go to the Ellen to get publicity, she did it to raise awareness. If you're really saying that she is talking about gay rights only for publicity/out do Gaga then you need to realize Madonna stood up for gay rights before anyone else did. Her personality is real, you're just a Gaga fan who doesn't understand. She said nothing bad about Elton, it is always Elton who goes and attacks her even though she will win(much like she won the Golden Globe)

Exactly. Madonna makes a very good point too.Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.So true.People who post hate messages regarding Madonna on youtube and other sites are doing exactly what Madonna talks about in this video.Judging others.

That is very well said! I also agree with you about the Madonna and GaGa comparisons - they're so unimportant, especially in connection to this specific interview.

" You've got to get through the rough patch of feeling like you don't fit in.." Truer words where never spoken and I thank Madonna for saying them. She's always been a scorce of strength for me, and I became a fan of her's in 1988 when I was just 9 years old, I am 33yo today and yes I am a gay male.. I wish her all the luck in the world, and I thank her for taken the time to speak out on this topic just as she did in the late 80's when AIDS had everyone running scared...

You can tell, Madonna is deeply emotional here .. However, I love how her voice suddenly changes to the "noble Madonna" at 10:22. :)

Well spoken Madonna, you're a beautiful woman inside and out. Those who bully as she said, have been bullied themselves or they enjoy putting others down to make themselves feel better or above others. I believe in karma...what goes around comes back around. Watch out all you immature, lowlife bullies...the day will come you'll be hit like a ton of bricks!😲😬
      Rock On Madonna 🙂🤘

I think what a lot of these teenagers who are being bullied at high school dont realise is that its only a very short period of your life which is over in a few years. After graduation its all over. Then you move onto college/university or a career. As Ellen and Madonna both point out usually its the victims of bullying that go on to lead successful lives and the bullies end up being losers.

Lady GaGa doesn't have an exclusive on bullying. Demi Lavato was also a victim of bullying and is a very big spokesperson for anti bullying.. The topic started with gay teen suicides from bullying and Madonna has been a supporter of gay and lesbians since the 80's, so she was very appropriate to speak here.

I get bullied daily and let me tell you this, there is NOBODY on EARTH that you can talk to that will make you feel better. Bullying should be a crime. Even though they're only children that bully there should be a fined amount taken from the family. Maybe then the families would think to do something about it.

you think Gays are the only people that get bullied? Everyone does its part of growing up it makes you a strong person. I have always stuck up for people that have been bullied, some crazy people get off picking on the weak. I guess they feel it lifts them up? As humans we should stick up for each other and not allow people to put others down and not stand by and watch a group of people pick on someone who is different.

I think Madonna has an excuse, because she picked it up for living in the UK for a while, but Lady Gaga never lived there. I have an aunt that lived in Texas (from Ohio) for a while, and when she came back, she had a Texas accent and didn't realize it until we told her.

I know but it was more complicated in the eigthees maybe you heard about a disease called AIDS which was "new" in the eigthees. So "when it wasnt normal to do so" doesnt mean that madonna was the only one, please read what I wrote and not what you want, so read it twice before post a comment. Madonnas last tour was the most successful tour of an solo artist and you are telling that her career is over (maybe you should google before you post something)

I do think this Madonna and Lady Gaga thing is being blown out of proportion by the FANS. They obviously already got over it themselves and aren't going on about it. It's people like Elton John and fans who keep on going about stuff that's irrelevant to what's going on currently.

@keegancassidy83 Blacks, Jews, Native Americans and many other people have been bullied and treated unfairly on a level that is unimaginable on a different and higher magnitude and they did not commit suicide.
My point is regardless of the reason why someone is being bullied, resorting to suicide is not going to help the situation. Race, religious background and sexual orientation may or may not be ways in which a minority of a group may or may not feel like an outcast.

Good point about how bullying is brought through to adulthood~ that adultz can be bullied; hence comprehensive workplace policy/law is needed to protect all. How safe adults are sets the tone for entire environments especially @ school!
Madonna sayz -all bullying & harassment needs to be addressed; that we are a part of a bullying culture...Zeitgeist; though using "preference" and "choice" language is not the best.

i think Madonna fans will 'get over it' when little monsters stop trolling madonna's videos. that's my opinion.
This is the 'dark side' of the 'social media' age we live in... if somebody dislikes something or somebody in the entertainment industry (mostly) they can't just keep it to themselves, they have to advertise it! And when you're young, these feelings are so strong that online it just gets overblown. Would you agree?

Madonna works for the rights of gay people around the world and equality for women in impoverished nations, just because she doesn't have a camera following her every time she does anything or tweets everything just to get praise for it doesn't mean that when she finally speaks up on camera it's for attention.

@TheSolitaryHeart I agree with you, Ladt Gaga is phony. Even if she does care for her fans or the gays, it doesn't come across as real; it just seems so contrived. Madonna is always genuinely sincere when she speaks out about something she believes in. And even though I don't know her or her parenting style, I do know that she's a great mother. People have to realize that Madonna is a grown woman; Gaga still has some growing up to do.

I got a message with your reply but I couldn't find it. I n my search for that I also realised that I missed some of your positing. We should agree to disagree then.I Just believe that no one should call artists rip off's after all Madonna began her career with an influence of Debbie Harry of Blondie, and Madonna took fashion direction from Maripol in the first few years of her pop music career. So Whatever I guess. Agree to disagree and all that.
