The reason people trust you is because you are a doctor. Please don’t take advantage of that. We can’t make sunscreen at home like this 😢. The products won’t even emulsify. Water and oil don’t mix. Companies use emulsifiers so that they don’t separate. Aloe vera gel is water based and won’t mix with oil.
Zinc oxide also has to be properly mixed for which companies use special equipments. Mixing is important cause when the zinc oxide forms an even layer on the skin only then it will give adequate protection for the sun. Moreover who is gonna test this sunscreen? What will the SPF be? What will the Pa rating be?
Your diy is gonna give us a gritty liquid in which oil and water has separated and you will even feel the zinc particles when you use it on the face. Don’t do that people. If you wanna make a sunscreen at home, do it properly using proper equipments and complete ingredients.
And without a preservative this concoction will go bad in less than a day in this hot weather. Only water insoluble products like oil don’t need a preservative but as soon as you add anything water based like aloevera gel/ water, you will need a preservative.
You are a doctor, you should take extra caution before spreading misinformation because people will believe anything you say even if it is making a fool of the people.

hey, since you seem like someone who's into this topic, I recently saw a video which said sunscreen is just a scam and is unnecessary for Indian skin. the same TH-camr also said aroma magic sunscreens are extremely dangerous and that zinc oxide turns toxic under UV, I've been using this sunscreen for years since this brand is one of those cent per cent natural brands and even their sunscreen isn't chemical based. what do you think? is sunscreen really necessary? does the the toxicity of it's ingredients outweigh the pros. also is there anything wrong w aroma magic sunscreens

sunscreens are very difficult to formulate .this DIY sunscreen not gonna give enough protection and it's not safe to use any diy sunscreens
That's exactly what @dr.dray said about homemade sunscreen it's all right that sunscreen is a difficult formula which is not good to make it at home
1TBSP + 1TBSP. mix well .+ zinc oxide (non nano) 1/2 tsp mix well. Again add alovera gel 1TBSP.

Where could I get zinc oxide? 😢
Few concerns and doubts-
-applying oil (like coconut oil) on body causes more tanning?
Also, oiling can lead to stickyness, more sweating and clothe staining?!
- can we go wearing this in swimming pool? How to get waterproof effect?
- and as compare to the market available products, how effective it is ? Comparatively?

Oh dear when you mix oil with aloe Vera a cream like texture will be formed just like Any other moisturiser .it's not sticky at all and works like any other moisturizer .

No hate. But you're a doctor, not a cosmotogelist or Cosmetic Chemist.
Just because a doctor is sharing something, doesn't means it's true.
We doctors only study about skin and how to prevent or treat skin problems. We are not taught how to formulate a product. For that, we have cosmetic Chemist.
As a doctor, don't give misinformation and formulate products please. Leave the job of formulation to cosmetic formulators instead.
Ma'am is it OK to keep the sunscreen in the refrigerator in order to prevent the degradation of sunscreen during summers as sunscreens tend to get bad at hot temperatures !

Can we mix aloe Vera gel with coconut oil without zinc. Because zinc is not available at home almost in every home. Any addition of chemical creats afraid and threaten if it is correct proportion or not. That's why I m asking from you. Pls tell?
