I've always loved Sick Pups since the begining, they've always meant so much to me, but I have to say I love them even more since Bryan joined the band, they're new songs really speak to me on a personal note. Also they're amazing live, Bryan is so great with the audience, he's really an awesome guy. It's also a bonus that he's totally gorgeous.

Ok first was with Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace and now with Shimon Moore -.- why?
The new singer is good and I do like the new Sick Puppies, but what I loved about Shim was how he could write songs that were really heavy and songs that were really soft and beautiful and out them all on the same album in a way that made the blend perfect. We see it through every album. From Catch 22 to Sweet Mercury, Rock Kids to The Way, Cancer to All the Same, You're Going Down to White Balloons, Die to Save You to Under a Very Black Sky. Every album had a perfect contrast. And it wasn't just Shim. All three members are very talented, but the band will never be the same without the original lineup.

Seeing a lot of complaining about change in the lead singer, but damn, this guy has some chops and this freak'n song rocks hard. Don't see or hear anything wrong with this song, love it.
Now they sound like just about every other rock group out there.
The original singer was so much better
From a long time Sick Puppies fan, I was broken hearted when he left. But I actually really enjoyed this. People just don't like change. I thought Kristen with Flyleaf was really good too but everybody always compared her to Lacey which is probably why she left the band. We should give them a shot. This new front man has a thumbs up for me at the moment. We'll see what happens in the future.

Holy fuck! I just played this for the first time and got chills, no lie! This new vocalist is fucking incredible and the instrumentals smashed it too! I love Shim in his own right and I love this new guy, too!

If Bryan was the original singer and he left, Shimon would be the replacement and y'all would say "I prefer Bryan". It just takes some getting used to. Everyone prefers the original but it doesn't make the new one bad. You'll get used to it and you'll like it.

tbh I like this new vocalist just as well as Shim. They both have different styles but that doesn't make one of them better than the other. To me this is a better lineup change than Flyleaf and their new singer. lol

+ProjectX182 Yeah, I got curious as to if/when the next album was coming out and read that Shim and the others had a bit of a falling out and Shim left to go do his own thing. This guy was the result of several auditions and I believe this is the first song Sick Puppies recorded with him (don't quote me on that, I could be wrong).
+Daniel Perales The album comes out at midnight tonight. Bryan, contacted Emma when he saw that they were without a singer not long after it was announced. There are many interviews with Bryan where he tells the story of how he joined the band. This is the first single off the new album 'Fury'.

I don't think they ever topped their first album, honestly. I do enjoy every album and while I think the debut is the best by a long shot, I do think the new TDG album gave them some new needed lifeblood. Just my opinion though.

Best song I've heard from Sick Puppies since Shim left. Miss seeing the old group together but this song is pretty good. I wanna hear more of Emma's voice.
Love the change up. The aggressive vocals are fantastic. I always like more bass, but this is still excellent.

Shim says that he got kicked out for no reason, but Emma claims that he tried to get the band dissolved by bringing in a lawyer and emma and mark were understandably against that so they kicked him out to save sick puppies.
Emma is not the easiest person in the world to get along with. She has her 'favorites' and she's pretty cold to anyone else. Their manager, Paul makes ALL of the decisions. Paul is Emma's X boyfriend. I toured with them for 6 weeks on the first record as Shim's Guitar tech and Stage Manager. Shim was ousted unfairly without notice or provocation.

I mean, it's not really Emma and Marks fault. Either you could have no Sick Puppies at all, because Shim was trying to dissolve the band before Emma and Mark removed him. So either you get form of Sick Puppies or have none. I'd say Emma and Mark deserve to continue on regardless of Shim. Shim has his own project now. It sucks, I also miss Shim, they had good chemistry, but I enjoy Sick Puppies in this form as well. Check out 'Beautiful Chaos' or 'Walls'.

The bass is a lot more forward in this which is great. I'm talking that they returned to a more driving rock sound.

I don't think you've listened as far back as you might think. As far as lyrical essence & trademark sounds go, Shim was Sick Puppies. this new singer (all though good in his own right) is different enough from Shim that this band no longer resembles Sick Puppies. (They really should change their name)

Well, this one my new favourite bands and it was good with Shim, but being an old hard rocker I think that Bryan Scott gives that touch that the beautiful Emma was missing, now I think that this rock band is infinitely better, now I’m glad to have Sick Puppies included in my music library back in 2009 🤘🏻😏

I got to meet Emma twice and she gave me her bass pick. Stood in one spot for 6 hours so I could be a couple feet away from her while she played. She was so nice and extremely talented.

The old singer was fired because he spoke the truth. Let's be real...
"I won't get vaccinated" really wouldn't ring true with today's modern audience. Saying people's children are "too fat to feed" wouldn't either. Fat positivity and whatever. The people simping for the new singer are just positive/like farmers. The new singer's fine, but the details about them kicking out the old singer while he was out of town are sketchy and murky at best.

I liked what Shimon brought to the table, and I like what Bryan Scott can do. His vocals are incredibly clean and still full of that grunge that I like about Sick Puppies. The song's great. Vocals aside - really excellent musicians here.

It's a great singer, a great song, but it doesn't sound like the last Sick Puppies records. We will always miss Shimon! He was the soul on this band

yeah IDK...I checked out Shimon's new band. its ok. I love his voice, but after the years and albums with him singing, it isn't Sick Puppies anymore. you only get a couple songs here and there. I like the singer change. I feel like I'm listening to Sick Puppies again.

I REALLY miss the old vocalist already, but this song had a very close vibe to the "Dressed up as life" album and that was my favorite sound. So if this vocalist can do calmer songs with the same talent as this like "my world" and stuff then i'll be very happy.

I saw these guys in Spokane Washington a week ago and it was a fantastic show, this guy fits right in and I believe he is doing a great job. Emma was awesome as usual and in my opinion slaps that bass like a boss ! she is so pretty.
I was really skeptical of what a new singer would bring to the Sick Puppies brand of music. I know nothing about the new singer but he fits in perfectly with their sound. Perfect transition bringing in a new member. I'm digging the new music.

To everyone complaining; i've seen the original Sick Puppies in concert two times. To be honest; Shimon WAS in my opinion Sick Puppies. Emma and Mark were always absent after the show and Shimon was the only one sticking around to talk to fans. I never liked the attitude the other two had. Shimon was true to his fans. But then again; this new guy holds it together well. In this song. The rest of the album Fury is pretty mediocre and fades out in the background. Still waiting what Shimon brings to the table, actually. Screaming at Demons looks like it's on hiatus, and i think the new guy just needs to get his feet wet even more. Still rooting for team Shim though, always.

Shimone's solo music is better.....I'm assuming he was the real talent behind the Sick Puppies. The 3 of them had something special....I hope one day they can patch it up and make music together....once again.....they were an awesome trio.
