I appreciate what seems like a balanced and honest review, rather than what seems like reviews based on disappointment from what people thought the game would be. Any word that they may address some of the issues? If so, which seem the most likely?
Thank you for watching! Sadly, we haven't heard of any future updates to the game. But the most recent update they did was to add a new story episode a week ago so maybe there's a chance.
This game may have a lot of issues, and most people would write this off as a kusoge But it feels like it was made for me, it's such a obsucre PS2 era feeling action game with that gameplay and aesthetics, i can't help but vibe with it I expected only people who were already familiar with the game's inspirations can find good things to say about it, the target audience is way too small, most players won't find anything appealing about this I wouldn't call it a particularly great game, but for a few select people like me who miss that edgy visuals and simple designs from those old days this is gonna feel very nostalgic. Its absolutely not worth $60, but something about the low res textures, the janky hack n slash combat, nonsense wizard story just compels me.
This game was quite dissapointing. I found the action combat and Yoko Shimomura’s OST to be the only redeeming qualities. I didn’t care about the characters or the story, the game looks horrendous, and it can be so repetitive. Shibuya is alright, but the forest is torturously bland. The amount of times you have to run through it is a joke. I understand the game was on a budget but that’s no excuse for no English dub. Side quests are LAME. The secret boss and endings are painfully idiotic.
Even the music was pretty bad Shimomura can't do anything else other than orchestrated elevator music, it all sounds the same, you can take Reynatis music then put it in KH or FFXV and it would fit because it's the same copy pasted work

I had never even heard of this game until this video showed up on my feed today. I might have to check it out.
We love introducing people to new games so we hope this fits your taste
