The part of Elaine was for an older woman with a 16 year old daughter - Marilu was too young for the part - but the producers were so taken with her they hired and made the character younger with no child -- can you blame them - these producers were ordinary looking guys whose dream girl would be Henner
Andy Kaufman's best stuff was the multiple personality shows. Latka was annoying, but these episodes were great! and of course an amazing sitcom. Taxi was awesome....

I love when Alex no.2 figures the key to life and just when is about to Alex 1 the answer he reverts back to Latka
"And you know what it is?" "What?" "It's so damn simple!" "What?" "The answer to it all is" "What!? What !? " "We had the bucket, we had the wood..."
It was so ironic that Alex was actually irked at first but was so eager to grab Latka's insight and the end of the episode.
Such an amazing show. Back when TV was not as stupid as it is today.
