I'm always captivated by the vivacity and charm of the visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. It's like opening a beautifully illustrated book, but in the imagination. They make meditation easy. Thank you.
I agree, Mary. I'm a very visual person and Blessed Catherine's visions can bring the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary alive for anyone listening to her account of their journey.
I was just thinking about her account of the passion while praying the rosary a few days ago. It is very vivid and, like you said, makes meditation more easy.
Next time our holidays don't go according to plan let's remember that the most important and holiest family in history didn't exactly enjoy any special privileges or treatment even though they were chosen and favored by God.
What a beautiful vision. It given us more of a glimpse to how it was. Love the tie in with what happened to the fig tree and the inhospitable woman. Blessed Sunday!
I believe strongly that the intercessions of Blessed Ann Catherine will be a very great resource for the Faithful in these troubling times for the Church.
I, too, gain some wisdom from reading the visions of the Blessed every time I read her revelations. Not crazy at all. I also include all holy ones declared Blessed and Venerable along with the Saints and Martyrs to pray for us. Blessed Emmerich is very special to me. Thank you for sharing her visions with the faithful. Have a blessed Sunday.
Your commentary about hospitality and mercy remind me of Our Lord''s parable of the Good Samaritan. Could this journey to Bethlehem and later their exodus to Egypt been fodder for this parable?
I cannot help, but believe in the visions of blessed Anne Catherine Emerich, the illustrations of her visions are unspeakable but through the stories of others I've read not quite nearly profound, ...as hers! I know somehow, she wasn't exaggerating or exaggerated...
Yes, I agree. It's from the heart we welcome & host him and all our heavenly family, as children of God. We worship with heart & few have a true reverence of love and devotion that God desires. He wants all of our heart & soul, with humility. Thanks for this video! I've been really into going back over & over Blessed Anne Catherine's revelations lately (I adore them). You and my Local Priest here in Australia seem to have a knack for reading my hearts thoughts and bring repose to my itching ears with your words. It makes me realise I'm on the right path in faith, tradition and thought. Thanks Anthony, I truly enjoy & appreciate all your content. Keep up the great work. God bless 🙏✝️🕊❤️
What a beautiful story! I often wonder what trials that Joseph and Mary under took making that long trip to Bethlehem with her being pregnant. Thank you for bringing this to us. God bless. Still praying for our church.
One of my favorite paintings is that one of Joseph on foot out front leading the reins of the donkey with Mary riding side saddle holding her rounded belly containing the Christ child. Perfect encapsulation of the rightly ordered love and structure of the holy family. This meditation is like an extension of that.
Always luv when you read blessed Anne Emmerick visions! I have a hard time reading them, some many odd word and symbols, my brain gets muddled lol. It so nice to listen to you pronounce etc properly all the names etc. and I have a easier time interpreting them. Thank you. More please 🙏🏻❤️
Listening to this on the 11th July, the feast of St Benedict (patron of European civilisation)according to the new calendar. I was reading a little bit about his rule of hospitality : to view strangers as Christ coming to stay. Time to pay close attention when you encounter the same thing twice in quick succession.
Thank you. I like your comment about faith. If I'm not mistaken, Mary was given three great gifts by the Father, Son and Holy Ghost -Faith , Hope and Charity. It makes sense to me that, while the greatest of these virtues is Charity, Faith is a cornerstone, if you will. Faith is key. Can Hope and Charity flourish in the soul if Faith is weak? My belief is as such - the strength of our faith is the strength of our belief. If our belief is strong, our faith confirms it. I'm not sure I'm saying this correctly. Faith is an extension of my belief. The teaching of the fig tree confirms it. In Matt 21:21-22, - "21 And Jesus answering, said to them: Amen, I say to you, if you shall have faith, and stagger not, not only this of the fig tree shall you do, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Take up and cast thyself into the sea, it shall be done. 22 And in all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." It makes sense to me that the strength of our faith prepares the temple of our hearts. Thank you, Anthony. God bless.
Err, what about the story of the Visitation in the Gospel of Luke? Those events are the ones you have to believe in! The Pre-Gospel of St. James has some stuff, but because it is not in the true Gospel, proceed with caution.. You cannot use the two above writings for apologetics and defense of the Faith. Plus, if a writing gest approved, it is terms of a double negative, something like this: This X does not go against the faith and morals of the Church.. A better vid might be what the Council of Ephesus proclaimed Out Lady as THEOTOKOS, The God Bearer. Ephesus is not a Council of the Middle Ages. It is one of the Great Four, where the the following were defined: Our Lord The Trinity Our Lady. Using GREEK, a language more theologically precise than Latin. Most LR Catholics are badly ignorant of these Councils. Bu we need them NOW more than ever

I’ve always wanted to know what the Holy Family’s journey to Bethlehem was like, how long it took. Now I understand other parts of the gospels better.
Lovely vision ... believable and plausible ... God bless.
Keep up the good work ...
Utterly charming and heartwarming! Thank you, Anthony.

I thoroughly enjoyed it Brother Anthony & am watching it again! Aww! Ave Maria! 🙌
Morning, MirY'am! God bless!
@@CatholicCat-er9xnGood morning my friend! Have missed you! Blessings to you and your family!
A nice antidote to the current and ongoing news from the Vatican.
I love the visions from Anne Catherine.

Yeah, I don't think Jesus likes it much when people are not kind to His Mother.
