For purple lotus orbs, if you aim at their feet, it would be better. Also, the orbs effect don't stack, so use one and wait for it to finish. Use another one if needed, but the good thing is it doesn't aggro them at all and you don't have to worry about being attacked. Only if you go to certain parts people will attack. That symbol for his profession means he's a temperwrite. They're good for making more durable armor, but ultimately, a shieldwrite would be best since it increases armor rating. A scoutwrite will decrease the weight of the armor. For Iblis, she's an alchemist so she'll reduce the crafting speed for the alchemy bench by 100%.
So don't target the thrall then good to know lol and I'll try not to waste them then. I'll have to look for a shieldwrite then seems like I take a lot of damage when grouped up on. Thanks for the advice!!
Not sure about AGI based thralls, but STR based ones do very good damage with maces. Maybe try a katana or short sword, as both are AGI weapons. For thrall food, feed them grilled steak, for the bonus % chance for vitality points. I'd recommend getting your sorcery to at least the point where you can make the Elixir of Rebirth, which you can feed to your thralls to reset their perks. Very handy to get the perks you want them to have. I usually go for vitality, but any perk that increases their damage/damage resistance is good, too. Purple Lotus flowers can be found in L7, left center, along the outer shore of the round island lake. Black Lotus flowers can be found in N6, bottom center. The Black Garden. You might take a Sandstorm Mask, as the garden is filled with poison gas from the lotus plants. You can do without the mask, just take the time to stop and heal after gathering a few plants/killing the apes. About halfway up the stairs and you're safe from the gas. Take a stack or two of aloe leaves to craft the cheapo aloe potion from your inventory screen. Don't forget your sickle. Take any silver coin you have to Sepermaru and buy glass flasks from Vennor Skinflint. 1 coin for 10 flasks. You'll need a bunch of ichor, too for part of the lotus orb crafting. That is, if you can complete the thrall taker journey. Like I mentioned, Funcom broke it with the Living Settlement thing, and I don't know if it's been fixed.
Okay I'll go hunting for sure, I also have those coordinates written down, as for sorcery I'm definitely going to try it out here. And the thrall taker quest line says it's complete so I'm assuming it's fixed.
As far as agility thralls i don't think you can go far wrong with Conchaka of Hikerania (or something like that, i just call her Conchie) part of the Black Hands, seems to do a hella damage with the AGI weapons, not very tanky tho

not sure if it was a fluke but in a nomad playthrough i i knocked out the fighters and sorcerers in the religious district of sep then poisoned them and managed about 4/5 levels in one go

When using the purplr orbs, it's best to aim at their feet. It works for me .
