Honestly, there's a fair amount and I mean a massive amount of people who don't wish to watch these movies, as it'll ruin the game for them. For people like us, who don't give 2 craps about it, will watch it, to enjoy the immersion that GLP gives us.

I may be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure the opening cutscene with Sueno is actually the ending considering he's holding a head (Katari) and you can see what looks like light opening up into the place at the end of that cutscene. During the ending the ghosts are opening up the doors and walking in on Sueno in the room. Just a cool detail I noticed
I forgot how awesome this story is. I’ve been playing Breakpoint for a while because I prefer that game’s mechanics but I’ll definitely be revisiting this one

There’s no silly banter or rare jokes like you get with Holt, no insight like what you get with Weaver or Midas. We get teammates commenting on hostiles being sighted or responding to your orders, but that’s the bare minimum. Imagine if Fixit gushed over how impressive the drones on Aurora were and takes about them in scripted events when traveling every now and then, Fury being somewhat more aggressive and thrilled when the bullets started flying, stuff like that. Would’ve gone a long way to help make them feel alive. Really the R6 teammates are superior in that regard. Thatcher’s banter with Nomad is short but sweet, and hearing their usual dialogue feels more varied compared to the standard team.

my character looks like a standard US military infantryman. So what you get is my elite spec ops team that doesnt look particularly like their from the US, then my Multicammed, US flag patched, M4 weilding, spec ops soldier. Its great. No real connection to the us lol
I gave up on the game halfway, and decided to watch this instead since I was invested. It just has so many gamebreaking bugs, and this is on relatively powerful hardware (r7 3700x, 1080Ti, 16GB DDR4 3600, and a Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVme SSD). The GPU usage drops and I get 30 FPS, and then it's back up to 80 for a while, and back down again. Then there's the texture streaming, unless you stand still and wait for them to load, it looks like quake 3. Another decent game destroyed by Bugisoft, shame, the gameplay and narrative are pretty good.

doesnt help that the ai is really fking odd, i have had moments where i literally stealth take down a enemy two feet behind the enemy, but i snipe a gaurd whos not remotely visible from out of earshot with a suppressed weapon an suddenly its world war three, not to mention the games random patrols and general argo is a issue. especially unidad. you so much as get into contact with unidad and it takes forever to finally break away and escape.

I'm surprised when you were writing the female lead you didn't employ the opportunity to have her give some tough flirt and shit test dares and jokes to get her way with interrogation. Some would say it would be going down a misogynistic or overly stereotyped lead trail and that well could be true. But no one will argue it was more true to the female lead character's archetype, and would have made in scene duologue foil incredible force due to her character dynamic. To break out of the soldier dialogue with character typecast, and show her not just ordering men around as may be surmised, but rather faceting her typecast line with a persona line would have, while that is a tough piece of writing, it can be structured that way and eventually made to work. Perhaps the developers did not have the time for this scripting iteration, but I thought it would have made a well made game anyway catapulting up the top echelon. The LC IMHO,
They didn't write female Nomad at all. Every single NPC still refer to Nomad as a man, which is quite stupid in general. Even BioWare went ahead to edit the dialogue accordingly if you chose Femshep, going so far as making unique dialogue options for some characters. You'd think the cartel members would show more emotion when they're facing a one-woman army who kicked their asses, especially when this game is set in a place where women do not exactly hold much power, aside from Madre Coca and the Beauty Queen (in universe). Changing the dialogue accordingly is one of my wishes for Wildlands 2.

This is what I hoped breakpoint would have, interactions between Nomad and their teammates.
And thankfully it does, they added it last year and AI teammates in 2020. Too bad it wasn't there on release.
