It’s funny how these tech TH-camrs talk about the SE as being a “secondary” or “starter” phone lol like it’s a toy😄 bruh I use an SE as my daily driver and it works great. Everything you could ask for in a great, minimalist phone.
@Benjamin Jagun True, I still appreciate their reviews but yeah, they think the average one minimum wage income or 2 or three jobs people in america can afford to have an iPhone SE as a secondary device and have an iPhone 14 as a primary 😂 I don’t think people have two cell phones if they are poor and have other bills to pay like water, gas, food, heating, etc.
I bought this iPhone as my first iPhone one month ago, 128 GB version, to use as my second device. Man, it's perfect, portable, lightweight, and after the battery swap in Apple Store it lasts me an entire day of moderate use. Love it!
I had mine from May 2020 till last week. I loved the small size and its classic design but I was sick of dealing with the battery all the time. It’s a great phone and works as fast as day one but it is very limited if you’re a heavy user. I changed it for the iPhone 13 and, even though I miss using the phone one hand, I don’t think I could go back to it 😅
Very happy to have a SE 2020. The battery is the weak side but I dont use it too much. Its perfect if your screen time daily is between 4 and 5 hours. One charge a day is enough for me.
I daily the 2020 model that I bought brand new in June 2020, mine still has the iOS 13.4.1 it shipped with. I use an iPhone 6s as my secondary and love them both. If you can find this phone for $150 or less absolutely take that deal

at first i wanted to buy either an SE 2nd or 3rd gen, but the iphone 11 had 2 cameras and a modern design and was way cheaper than the 12 and 13. i went for the 11 and i expect to use it for 3 - 4 years.
From a Pixel/Android guy, it performs very well for it being an "older" budget iphone. It feels like flagship performance. Would work very well if someone just needs a cheap phone/iphone or prefers a small phone. For me though, I don't like iOS and it's too small for me, might try to hang with it for a bit to use as a secondary phone until I sale/trade it.
I got this for my wife early December to see if she could adapt to the iOS ecosystem (she had a S7 under the tree). She liked it but wish the screen was bigger. Took it back and got a 13. She loves it. And the Watch

I just got mine 2 days ago. I couldn’t believe An iPhone was so cheap. I break all my phones and go through 3 iPhones a year so it’s pricy. I started using cheap androids and it was killing me how slow they are. I went to Walmart and seen this with straight talk and got so excited. It was a no brainer. I’ve never had anything better than the 11 anyways so it’s like I picked up where I left off. AMAZIN

You have a point there! When I say boring, I'm not saying the phone is bad, SE 3 is excellent, I just think Apple can enhance the SE a little bit more at this point for people who want a lower price point iPhone!
Yep, thanks. I think the SE3 is going to be the last cheap iPhone. Canadian news said 65% of people can barely meet their mortgage payments because of the economic crisis, so I think the SE3 will be very popular for a while. I also don’t see the point in paying $400 more for the basic iPhone 14 when I prefer the size and home button. PS by the way, my iPhone 8 is still running great ha ha I did have a new battery put in it one year ago in January and the battery health is 94%.
@@smartphonefan5226 excuse me, Canadian price for the iPhone SE three is $600 on the nose I’m not paying 999 for an iPhone 14 non-pro version. Thank you.
This is my backup phone for the times when I need a 2nd phone for some reason and for when Android just won't do. And it's been super reliable for me and crystal clear call quality on cricket 😁 battery life could be better, sure, but that's what external battery banks can really help with. Also idk why but this has the best performance playing RuneScape mobile than any other device I have. 😳 Big plus for me
I bought a refurbished se 2020 today , i didn't want to pay the extra for a brand new se 3. For me the se 2 will serve me just as well. I don't really do gaming , just make calls ,send texts, take photos and send emails , and use a few useful apps. When ive had other pbones with large battery capacity it only seemed to encourage me to waste more time staring at it for hours. We all know what smartphones have done to society. We see it all around us. The se 2 and 3 kind of helps people get back to the real world
It’s April 2023 and I’m updating my 1st gen SE from 2016 (that I bought second-hand in 2018 for £60) as the battery is not as great as it used to be. I just bought an unlocked 2020 SE for £93, including recorded and insured postage. This should last me for another few years, unless I break it. I may sell my SE for £20-30 or just keep it, get a new battery for £10 and give it to our young son instead of an iPod Touch. Anyone spending a thousand pounds on a phone or taking out credit for one should really think about their priorities. My only new iPhone was a 3G in 2008, I think I paid £349 for it. Back then, it made sense to get one new, although it also made sense to sell it a year later for £200 and get a used 3GS. I’ve done the same with my cars (mainly German premium), my computers (Mac-only) and my home is mortgage-free.
I’m currently using the iPhone SE 2020 and it’s performing great even though the battery health is at 81%…. I might change to a Xr this year in the summer 😊
Tech TH-camrs complain SO much about this SE 2020 and the 2022 version for being lazy on the design. But, what they miss the point on is the value both models offer the average consumer. If you don't wanna spend $1,000 or more and you want stability and quality these SE models are hard to beat. Touch ID is amazing, they are supported for years, it's so light and compact, has a fast processor, a great camera all for $100-200. I had this phone a few times and I kept going back because it grew on me for Touch ID as well as the amazing speakers on it. Yes, the obvious downside is battery life, but with a battery case it solves the issue. Even when it was first released I saw the insane value of it and I still do right now.
Phone is definitely worth it. You can buy it second hand in mint condition with a new battery for EUR 270. It’s a 2020 machine that will enjoy years of software updates and still be fast enough. Do not listen to anyone who claims this phone is outdated. And don’t spend your life glued to a phone screen taken hostage by silly social media apps. Just use this thing now and again when you need it ✌🏼
I just bought this one today in the 128 GB variant as an addition to my Apple iPhone /iPad collection refurbished with 1 year dealer warranty for under 150€. Starting from the iPhone 3s I own practically all iPhones up to the XS and XR. The current iPhones I find too big and clumsy in their form factors, I would not get any of those and do not need their technical highlights (multiple cameras and stuff). But I do love the form factor of this classic so much, even over an iPhone 11,12,13 or 14 Mini!
@@kaddou1 Trust me, from someone who loves the phone, if you care about all day battery in the slightest, I'd choose something else. If you don't mind having to charge at least once, even multiple times per day, then the phone is awesome.

I bought an as new customer return iPhone SE 2020 for £229 from the Tesco Outlet eBay store for £229 six months ago. At the time it had 100% battery. Now this figure is 97%. It is a very fast phone. Nope. I’ve had mine for years and now I decided to get an 11. The 11 is faster, smoother, battery life better, camera better, it’s louder. My SE glitches sometimes as well
Thanks for this useful video. I have just purchased an iphone SE 2020 to use only as a second phone. I am an Android user currently with a Pixel phone. I had been looking to switch from Android to iphone so that I can track the Airtag attached to my dog's harness when we are away from home and without my ipad and Macbook.. I originally thought of switching to an iphone 15, but I use Touchid a lot for signing on to apps and do not want FaceiD which I find inconvenient and unreliable, so the latest iphones are a out, Instead I have purchased an iphone SE 2020 to use as a second phone with a PAYG SIM for when I am walking the dog. It is small and perfect for this, too small and limited as my main phone, but it does have TouchID..
I love fixing phones and im gonna be buying a iPhone SE from a friend at school for 30 bucks and it's cracked and ima be kinda downgrading from my iPhone. 11 but. the. 11 has broken Face ID so ill keep it for the camera
I just bought the SE a few weeks ago. I only paid $280 Canadian plus tax for a 64 gig 100% battery Open Box. I am a simple user and it works for me. My phone before was the XR but the battery was nearing need for replacement, I didn’t want to pay since the XR will be cut off for updates
i loved my se2 i just couldn't cope with the aeful battery life and the touch ID never worked unless it's wiped clean constantly, I do miss the notchless smaller screen and rounded sides though
this video feels a little bit pointless to me considering the iphone se 2020 goes for like 400$ and the se 2022 goes for 450$ I think generally for 50$ extra it would be way smarter to just get a phone that will last longer. I appreciate the content you make though this comment wasnt to be negative but it just dont make sense to get the 2020 se
Great video!!! 🤗📱❤️ I bought mine last May of 2022 because I have a prepaid Verizon Samsung Galaxy A11 and my main phone with T-Mobile is a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and AT&T took my flip phone number away because I didn't upgrade to a new prepaid phone before the network expired. So I thought why don't I upgrade my Verizon prepaid phone from my Samsung Galaxy A11 since I have many android phones and my government phone is a Galaxy S10e and got the iPhone SE 2 2020 Edition and then I would have not only android to play but I can play with IOS too. It's a great little phone to use along side my main phone the Note 20 Ultra and my S10e phone and it's a pretty decent phone I love it and the touch ID is great and I love the touch ID too. And I also have to used apple watches I connected to it and they work very well. I been very happy with my little iPhone SE 2020 when I want to change up and use IOS too!!! 🤗📱❤️
I bought it phone se on june 2020 when it launch till the date i use this phone as primary device and there is no issue from iphone se till the date i thinking to upgrade iphone 14 plus or iphone 15 but still i think i need upgrade? My se2020 work fabulous at this time where I write this message
I was going to upgrade to 13 mini but im just going to get battery replaced and get whatever catches my eye when i get tired or the se gives out love this design and touch id
I’ve been wanting to get a more low key phone. Don’t use socials any more, don’t care about cameras, etc. I might get this phone. And this is coming from someone who has an iPhone 12.
There are much better iPhones for actually a few dollars more with better value but I guess if you don't have the extra 50 or 100 dollars you can avoid Android !!
Not a bad phone great to fit in your pocket if you're doing a active job I got mine for free from cricket finally got tired of the small screen tho so I sold it
Just paid 70 pound for mine posted of eBay with 86% battery health and 64gb of storage,I will use it as my work phone and keep my s23 ultra away from work as I work with minor offenders on probation and dont want to tempt theft.
I have plenty of money I could spend on the a new Iphone pro 14 or whatever, I choose this phone because I have smaller hands and tried lugging around a bigger heavier phone and it was more annoying and not worth it.
Which iPhone should I purchase? I can afford an iPhone 14 Plus, however it runs at 60 Hz, which is a drawback for me because I play mobile games a lot.
I had this phone till a year ago when I dropped it on grass and it shattered, it worked still for a bit till I went to a seaside area for a job interview, went to the beach but when I got to the car it was glitching going blurry and just broke
I just bought the SE 4! It's a refurbished iPhone 12 mini, for like 238.00 (138.00, if you take the SE 2 i sold on ebay). My first oled, no bezel, iPhone, and i don't think i could ever go back. I loved my SE 2020, but you can get a 12 mini for pocket change these days & pretend it's the all new SE 4, that got shelved!
Both my parent have this to this day. This phone is for practicality and for people that don't necessarily care about the bleeding edge gimiicks and tech in $1000+ devices. If you're shopping for this l, then you probably aren't looking the Pro or Max models. 🤷♂️
apologies it will not let me edit it as I made a mistake. That should say if you want to hold on and get the latest which they do not tell you would be the 15 in March.. could even be even 15 pro, but it will be the latest anyway. Which my darling would make this even more affordable for those on a low budget like myself. Much love.@MisT-Oldskool aka the ROLLIN RAVER

i recently bought an iphone se, this week. I already had the first generation once and lastly I had the iphone 8. I was wanting to get the third generation but who knows in the future.
Using used SE 2 from a week as a secondary device and it's completely satisfying.
Great job ❤️👍
Thank you so much Rhea 👌🏼
@@nickackermanchannel It's my pleasure ❤️👍
@@nickackermanchannel 2020 was the last time the iPhone SE formula actually worked, after that, everyone was ready to move on unfortunately including Apple.
Just bought this for my 11 year old brother he loves it and I only payed 80$ for it looks and feels brand new
I love mine!!!! Had it for 2 years.
These phones are great brought 2 hand 2020 se 256gb for 100 pounds boxed with everything. Great value
idk, after using 12 pro, 14pro, i just feel like iphone SE is just the phone that i need to simplify my life, plus i use a professional camera,
Hello sir, i need a budget iphone to make vlogs .. is iphone se2020 worth for it. Pls guide
Amazing video bro
Thanks bro! I appreciate your support!
I concur!
se2 and se3 are basicly the same phone. Only difrence is the chip.. only that. So my personal sugestion is, if you have se2 it would be the best to wait for se 4. Dont upgrade to se3
Better than all current androids except the flagships.
I bought this as my second iphone got it back in august 2020 still have it and use it today
Just ordered a refurbished SE 2 for 200€ today. I will use it as a second device. Lets in what condition it is.
Thinking about using this as my screen recorder for my reaction channel. Using a iPhone 11 for camera purposes
Just got this from amazon renewed a week ago. 129usd for an iphone can't be beat man.
My phone before was the XR but the battery was nearing need for replacement, I didn’t want to pay since the XR will be cut off for updates
people out there going with the latest iphone hype meanwhile me still use this SE as main phone.. it works great with affordable price
bought it in 2020, still great and I'll use it until it dies
i loved my se2 i just couldn't cope with the aeful battery life and the touch ID never worked unless it's wiped clean constantly, I do miss the notchless smaller screen and rounded sides though
How can you make an iphone just an iPod if you need access to iTunes to get music or a computer to download get into Apple ?
i still using iphone se gen 2 since this iphone relase☺☺☺
this video feels a little bit pointless to me considering the iphone se 2020 goes for like 400$ and the se 2022 goes for 450$ I think generally for 50$ extra it would be way smarter to just get a phone that will last longer.
My se2020 work fabulous at this time where I write this message
iOS 17 work like a charm on this, the phone is perfect in 2023 just the battery the only issue.
I'm looking for a lightweight phone. I currently own the Pixel 6a but it's super slippery and quite heavy in my pocket.
I still use it and its great, but the battery is critical
I was going to upgrade to 13 mini but im just going to get battery replaced and get whatever catches my eye when i get tired or the se gives out love this design and touch id
I’ve been wanting to get a more low key phone. Don’t use socials any more, don’t care about cameras, etc. I might get this phone.
And this is coming from someone who has an iPhone 12.
I getting that iphone! I'ts my first iphone and i am so happy!
There are much better iPhones for actually a few dollars more with better value but I guess if you don't have the extra 50 or 100 dollars you can avoid Android !!
Not a bad phone great to fit in your pocket if you're doing a active job I got mine for free from cricket finally got tired of the small screen tho so I sold it
can we use live objects in iphone se 3rd genreration ?
Can we charger iphone se 2020 with a normal 20.000 mAh powerbank? Or xiaomi powerbank ?
If the voltage is so high , you may damage your iPhone
i still have mine it great
Ty
Just paid 70 pound for mine posted of eBay with 86% battery health and 64gb of storage,I will use it as my work phone and keep my s23 ultra away from work as I work with minor offenders on probation and dont want to tempt theft.

Watching in my 2016 iPhone SE.
since I am planning on buying the upcoming iPhone 15 pro, I'll buy the 11 instead now then upgrade in November
Smart
I have plenty of money I could spend on the a new Iphone pro 14 or whatever, I choose this phone because I have smaller hands and tried lugging around a bigger heavier phone and it was more annoying and not worth it.
iphone xr or iphone se 2
Which iPhone should I purchase? I can afford an iPhone 14 Plus, however it runs at 60 Hz, which is a drawback for me because I play mobile games a lot.
14 Pro Max
13 pro (max)
Dude just get a 13 pro max then wait for the 15 ultra
@@garyk7677 nah, the 15 Ultra will probs not be worth it from a 13 Pro Max
I compare my iPhone 7 to a mates iPhone SE and as they’re the same size we came to the conclusion that the SE stands for SEven 😉
I had this phone till a year ago when I dropped it on grass and it shattered, it worked still for a bit till I went to a seaside area for a job interview, went to the beach but when I got to the car it was glitching going blurry and just broke
I'm currently using this iPhone rn
I just bought the SE 4!
It's a refurbished iPhone 12 mini, for like 238.00 (138.00, if you take the SE 2 i sold on ebay).
My first oled, no bezel, iPhone, and i don't think i could ever go back.
I loved my SE 2020, but you can get a 12 mini for pocket change these days & pretend it's
the all new SE 4, that got shelved!
I think it’s great iPhone for me love it it does the work love the product red too
I got 2nd gen in 2022 on Christmas Day
Great phone except for the battery
They need to make an iphone SE Pro or something with a bigger screen I love the low price to value but it's small
Thats the iphone 11
Wondering how many years of support will it get, iOS 19 or 20?
as the 11 ios 18 on the max
it really comes down to personal preference i wouldnt get that in 2023 because apple has progressed to full screen with face ID
Both my parent have this to this day. This phone is for practicality and for people that don't necessarily care about the bleeding edge gimiicks and tech in $1000+ devices. If you're shopping for this l, then you probably aren't looking the Pro or Max models. 🤷♂️
please make pixel 6a long term review
I love it❤️
apologies it will not let me edit it as I made a mistake.
I just bought one for 100$ I'm from Serbia.
You can find MUCH better deal in Amazon just saying' not to start a war!
what is the wallpaper
This phone is the equivalent of a Bugatti Chiron Engine in A Toyota Prius body!
7:43 is that the iphone 13 or 14?
