      Konrad's apologizing to his son coz he will always be reminded by others that how his father was a traitor who betrayed his country, giving him a mental burden from such a young age.

      It's also to me another clue that he isn't really this stories Kurtz, Walker is; the real Konrad knows history will condemn him and he's not about to disagree with it. He doesn't argue that what he did was necessary, he doesn't plead for understanding, he just apologises for the burden his son will be forced to carry when the story gets out.

    It's funny how every time a collectible is narrated by Walker, he gets so close to putting 2 and 2 together before putting it out of his mind.

      Konrad is like Kurtz in that he has a obvious cult of personality around him, He's not as evil as Kurtz (Cutting heads off and shit) but he's comparable.
      Darden would be the photojournalist enamored with Kurtz.

    16:30 This line description shows that at least we know what ending is actually canon.
    As Walker did say and I quote "..I killed them to protect myself. At least, that's what I'm telling myself today."
    Now it could be interpreted that Walker thought about this whole thing when he had just left the refugee camp where they hung Lugo but from my perspective it just doesn't make sense that Walker would have an introspective view on himself until things calm down. So in my mind, Walker didn't die. He could have gone either Big Boss or went along with the Marines evacuating him.

      It was confirm that everything after the plane crash was just a hallucination, idk much but I think that the developers say that walker is actually in hell, and paying for the sins that he committed

    • @hamoodhabibi1579
      @hamoodhabibi1579 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@NCR_veteran I’m not saying this is wrong but while the rest of the game post crash is a hallucination, perhaps maybe the Military can properly move in and resecure Dubai and found Walker’s team in the Chopper. Just because everything is a figment of his imagination post crash doesn’t mean he didn’t survive.

    The silver bullet line accidentally ties into a real story about Oliver Cromwell pretty neatly - for those that don't know, Cromwell is one of the most hated figures in Irish history
    During the siege of Drogheda, Cromwell's English troops were losing, the local Irish population were holding him out and he couldn't make any headway. The Irish were so successful that Cromwell was about to pick up and leave, until he picked up a bullet fired by one of the defenders, it was silver. Cromwell realised that this means the Irish didn't have the resources to hold out for much longer and he massacred them, including the women and children.
