CPS better give her children back. She did all the right steps and is no way in the wrong here.
She lost them because he was an asshole! Fuck him!
They did the right thing by taking the kids from both of them until they can determine the risk level. Authorities have evidence of abuse within this relationship that she has chosen to be apart. That gives plenty of reason to remove the kids until she can also be evaluated. Even if she is not abusive, they must determine if she was allowing him to be abusive or was she not aware of the abuse. To blindly give her kids back without an evaluation would be negligent and foolish.

Not all the time. There have been some instances where they're all truthful or deceptive and he reads them one by one from question to result. But yeah 99% of the time? It's usually a sign that they're fucked.

Thank god people like you aren't the ones making decisions concerning children in abusive homes. You are ignorant to assume only the person caught is a threat to the children! A majority of child abuse cases both parents are aware of the abuse even if only one parent is doing the abuse. That is a crime to stand by and allow it to happen which you ignorantly dismiss! She needs to be evaluated to determine if she has been aware and compliant of his abuse or if she has ever abused them. She willfully and contumaciously was part of this abusive relationship which absolutely brings her parental faculties under scrutiny and needs evaluation before risking those children.

Absolutely she should have to prove herself before getting her children back! She made the decision to be in this relationship which does not bode well for her. Hi I don’t know if you are still on here or whatever since it’s been a year I’m one of her kids the oldest the one ten year old now about 13 she got her kids again and now me and my little sister are living with our biological father and I don’t know about the others also she let him back in don’t assume her as a good person but it’s fine also she didn’t deserve us back and I will never forgive her but thanks for asking how we’re doing

I think we know she is her kid and what she wrote is true because the kids were all taken away from him and her. Many asked why not only get him away and let the kids with the mother.. I think because she stands behind him instead of her kids.

My best explanation is, the guy video wasn't in a good spot to actually see him hitting them but had just enugh view to know what was going down. Not to mention what ever this damn guy was saying while hitting them and recording all that and recording the kids screams and cries.

She clearly cares very much for her kids or she wouldn't have brought the pos on Nat TV. Babies first few months are THEE most crucial time they need their mom, as breastfeeding & holding is what molds a child. If taken away it can never be made up for. They do studies on this all the time. Babies who are breastfeed, & held nurtured etc by their mom are way more likely to be better members of society, esp temperament wise.
Children should never be assaulted in any way. Calling "beatings" "whoopings" doesn't change anything.

Soon as she said they were together 6 years I thought the same thing. I'm willing to bet that him abusing her kids didn't start the day he was videoed. Even if she never witnessed him abuse the kids, you mean to tell me not one of her older kids never mentioned to her that he hit them. If he was caught on video punching a child in the face then chances are during that 6 years, those kids had major bruises on their bodies. She never asked? Come on ...she knew.

That's not completely true. I had a family member that kinda went through this herself. But no her kids wasn't constantly abused. Her boyfriend (father of her 2 kids) started up drinking and one night just lost his shit, attack her and the kids. Luckly there was no hardcore damange. And their neighbors called the cops before anything could get worse. They have camera's in their home and out side so the whole thing was recorded.
They arrested him, found out it was not just alcohol but heroin in him and several texts in his phone showing he was selling it.
She got her kids taken away and had to do all these same thing's. And mandatory drug testing due to the fact of her boyfriend using drugs, they couldn't prove that she wasn't taken part of that and they couldn't prove that she didn't even know about it. Which she didn't. When he would tell her he would be late getting home or just took off for no reason. She just assumed he was cheating on her. It took her 6 damn months to get her kids back bc of some washed up drugged addict, who she thought was just becoming an alcoholic and a cheater. She and her kids were the ones punished for someone else's behavior. I hope this doesn't seem like I came off rude or hate full. If it does I'm sorry. It was not intended I promise.

He's garbage, she knows for sure now, and hopefully she can meet the requirements, be healthy, happy, & get her kids back. If she becomes a great Mom it seems like she plans to be, I hope the kids forgive her. Nobody knows all the aspects of someone's life that contribute to how a person handles their situations, some people are really just stuck and can't find any way out until there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. I won't judge her, I will just pray! 🙏
Sadly, baby will never get that breastfeeding bonding time back, which hampers emotional development. CPS could have ATLEAST arranged checks. Sometimes they get TOO involved & it hurts the kids more. Other times they ignore flat out abuse. It's so wacky & backwards.

I agree it makes me sick as well. However if he was regularly beating the children and the person recording had called the police or child services previously and nothing happened that would explain the video recording.
I have reported neighbours for verbal abuse and neglect. CPS did nothing so then I tried stepping in and dealing with the parents directly and nothing happened.
So then I videoed them and submitted it repeatedly and THEN something happened.
The videoed it and called the police. Give them a break. They had the proof needed to arrest him.

I got a 1 yrs two teen girls and a 17 year old boy I used to want to spend more time with the older ones my son especially as his computer and girlfriend are more important than me I used to dream family dinners where we all sat down together. The saying be careful what you wish for is true because now every night we all sit down together and everyday sit down together and I dream of a day and I can go out alone and get the hell away from these people that I created That Talk non-stop!
