I did the trail in 2020, west to east, over 30 rail trails, with a few tweeks to the route to add the Katy trail, Mickelson trail, and other rail trails.
It would have been nice if from Nebraska the trail went north to the Mickelson Trail in SD and then headed west. Or even have an option on which route to take.
The Moonville Tunnel in Ohio, though not connected to this national trail, is developing! They're going to install seven new bridges to connect the trail this year.
