  • Mussels are nutrient-dense: they are packed with high-quality protein, vitamins, and minerals such as iron, zinc, and vitamin B12, which are vital for overall health and well-being. They are also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help to promote heart health, reduce inflammation, and support cognitive function. Additionally, mussels are a sustainable seafood choice, as they have a low environmental impact; they can be farmed in a manner that even contributes positively to their ecosystem. Finally, mussels offer culinary versatility, as they can be prepared in a variety of ways and incorporated into many different types of dishes.

First time I tried them was a cheap can in ALDI. And Man I was impressed, if that cheap canned Mussels taste that good I had to try a higher quality fresh or frozen, it ended up being cheaper than I expected.

What's like a trustworthy price for mussels, so that I don't get a food poisoning.

@@monikaraj8610 12- 15$ per pound is a good deal and trustworthy pricing, anything lower can be suspicious. Never be scared to ask to smell one of the clams, it should smell a lil stinky like fish but not pungent ❤ hope this helps!

If foraging, use garden/work gloves and not tools to pick them. Only a handful in each spot and move on so new ones can grow. Call your local tox line or fish and wildlife to find out if it’s safe to consume the morning you arrive on the coast.

Many of these foods that claim to boost testosterone only do so by preventing that testosterone from being converted into DHT, which is a similar but more potent variant

As a vegan, mussels are the only meat I'm willing to consider eating - for that Omega-3 and high octane nutient-mineral goodness! Since they aren't sentient or conscious, there is a number of us vegans wiling to eat them; they're extremely sustainable and you probably contribute to less crop deaths from eating them.

Eat eggs then? From your own backyard chickens. They lay them regardless.
This is why the vegan movement has lost logical sense. Too much mental gymnastic to justify the strictness of their plant based diet.
Veganism started as a movement not a diet. Diet is shaped by the movement.
You can have chickens if you have the space ans they will be happy. They lay eggs whether you eat them or not. Infertile eggs. Which they will eat themselves if nobody else takes them after a few days...
