This autumn in Tokyo has been rather wet with not much sunshine. A few winter birds have arrived, and the yellow leaves give unusual pattern to the flowing river (unusual in autumn, normally, in Tokyo). Quite a few birds are seen trying to catch fish while the last autumn flowers and insects show their colours before winter arrives.
今年の東京の秋は雨がよく降りました。小さい川の環境は少し変わりました。野鳥、木々、昆虫のおかげで本当の秋の雰囲気を感じられます。

@@temp24Lno5 Thank you very very much , Joan, for your kindness and appreciation. It is really encouraging. Plants have become easier to identify now but sometimes it is just impossible. Birds have been my friends for long and the more one observes their behaviour the more it becomes interesting.
I can’t go long distances and Japan has this incomprehensible policy of cutting all the trees along all the major rivers of the country so beautiful old trees are disappearing fast. They do it in case of flooding. But Europe has flooding as well and trees stay where they are. It can’t bel helped anyway so birds lovers have to be resourceful ( and walk a lot!).
I think now Canada is preparing for winter. I hope you won’t have trees to chop this year. Very best wishes! Thank you again.🙏🙏😊😊👋👋‼️

@@johnluk Thank you so much John! Snow ! Let’s hope it’s just a freak of the weather. You can’t stay long in a hide if it’s that cold.
Here it’s unusually rainy too. And cold. That little river plump in the city is a few minutes train ride and unless they go on covering the whole of the river with concrete (they do everywhere, like canals) it’s still a good place for kingfishers. But of course they are disturbed and one day won’t be able to dig burrows and that will be the end. There is no environmental protection here except where they can’t build(high up in the mountains).
Anyway I am going to inspect the various spots I know and see how things stand.

水辺の鳥たちの様子を丁寧に紹介していただきありがとうございます。また植物も良く勉強されていて驚きました。
水面は寒くなった方が綺麗な気がします。ただ私は寒さにめっぽう弱いので厚着で凌ぐしかありません。
昨日は晴れたので何時もの観察コースに出ました。去年から今年にかけてヤマドリの生息地はカメラマンが押しかけましたが昨日は私一人。山道沿いの林伝いに威嚇の鳴き声がしばらくついてきました。声だけでなくこの次はカップルの姿を見たいです。
日没近くはルリビタキなどが今年も見られると思います。冬の数少ない楽しみです。

昨日Tokyoの公園へ行って、最後の紅葉を少ししかなかったですね。山なら確かにこれから取れる被写体は限られていますね。野鳥、空と雲、乾燥した花の頭、種。。。暑い夏の時にいろいろはありましたけど温度はなかなかね。。
親切なメッセージ本当にありがとうございます。今電車だけで動いて行くところは少ないですね。けっきょくあちこちの川辺になります．オリンピックのせいでヨウロッパへ帰るのは遅くて、日本の一番きれいな時期を完全日本ミッスしました。
良い事はTH-cam のおかげでかなり日本の自然の美を見れました。そのためいつでも感謝します。

今はほとんど電車で動いて行くところはかぎられています。その上今日年まで良い所はいま木々を切って、今見れません野鳥は多い(特にミサゴ、チョウゲンボウとか。。)です。良いことはTH-cam で自然のあるところの動画を見れます．(ノスリ‼️)。
今は寒いので気をつけてくださいね．特に山へ行けばね。

Those white egrets are stunning birds and very good at fishing. Not very generous though😅 The Patient heron looks more like a grump😁Nice footage though👍

agree with you about the egrets ‘ bad temper. I believe in other countries they don’t quarrel like that. Possibly due to the surabondance of anglers which makes fish scarcer?…

Comparing autumns with yours you can still see a lot of green, even flowers can still be found. It is well known that the climate in Japan is milder. I enjoyed the film very much👍

@@bunkowmoviebirds476 Hello, friend ! Thank you for your very kind message. It’s true that the climate is milder here but in the morning today it was about 6 degrees and in the day 12. From December it gets cold and in Tokyo very dry. In your case I know you have snow : this means you have to walk very hard and cover up a lot. I hope you are alright and that the beautiful nature of the Oder valley has a bit of sunshine ☀️ !

As for the egrets in the river I had never seen them so agressive! I guess there are days when they really are hungry.

こんにちは‼️ご視聴いただきありがとうございます．親切なメッセージありがとうございます．はい、Tokyoにいると川沿いの探鳥になります．以前より木々は少ないので実と食べ物も減っていますね。着いてから三つの川へ見に行きました;どこでも木々は消えた．時間かかて草類また出てくると望みます．水の野鳥とは関係ないけどカワセミは減っています．巣をもう掘ることをできません．非常に残念ですね.
京都の天気予報を見てまだ晴れる日は続きます．動画を楽しみにします‼️

@@nonbiriyasan ありがとうございます‼️気をつけましょうね。京都の近くに自然はまだ小鳥は来る(動画で判断すると！)けど川の世界は非常に残念です。工事の後はまだ時間がかかて、草はそのまま置いておけば良いだけどこちらはマンションを数メートル離れて建てます．意味がない。
それでも頑張って触れないところを見つける事は大切です。Mr Nombiri はいつも上手くできます。続けるようにを祈ります！気をつけてくださいね‼️

@@choonkeonglim6178 Hello!This river flows from Aiharamachi to Enoshima, in the sea. It’s a small river . Unfortunately it is very much covered in concrete and there aren’t many trees depending on the places as it crosses towns. 👋👋
