Where in Canada do people speak that way?
I’ve only ever visited Ontario, where they sound very Cali-Girl and Newfoundland, which is basically a full-blown Irish accent and occasionally incomprehensible.

I did part time work as a phone operator while at uni back in antiquity. We were taught the phrase ”I apologize for not being able to speak your beautiful language, is it acceptable If we speak English?” and to use it whenever calling our French counterparts. The answer was always ”Oui”.
The Swede wasn’t so much adding vowels to French, just pronouncing the ones written.

As a French native speaker, 6612770 plus, Solal flechelles and Thibault are all right. "Je suis" would be written and spoken exactly the same whether you mean the verb "être" (to be) and the verb "suivre" (to follow). And "suivre" could have a physical meaning (following somebody) or figurative meaning (not understanding or not following the meaning). So translation could be: I am not, I do not follow or I do not understand. Conclusion: French is a wonderful language.

Other than asking for a well done steak... A Texan would never ask for such a horrid thing. Shit most of the country wouldn't.. People who do need to have their heads checked.

Foil's American is just so perfect, I start laughing just when he's sitting there not saying anything... but when he does say something, he's the loudest guy in the room. I grew up with that guy! 😆😆😆

Foil's Swedish French is how Swedes hear American French. Loads of extra exaggerated vowels added for no reason.

Now this is a really impressive sketch!- because beside the writing being hilarious as usual, and the accents/tropes being incredibly accurate, it's really really difficult to do a good accent trying to imitate a BAD accent in a completely different variety of MULTIPLE accents and yet sound perfectly like both opposing voice tones at the same time.
