- Looking for the right kayak to buy? If you're like us, you may really enjoy getting out on the water in a kayak, but you're not fishing or riding rapids. In this video, we take you along on our journey to buying the right kayaks (and gear) for our recreational newfound love of kayaking.
When we did our research (um, actually, when MARK did research) on kayaks, there was a lot of information about options for fishing and options for serious kayak daredevils...but no a whole lot for people like us. We just want to get on the water, get a little sun and exercise, but not go too crazy.
So we're sharing with you what we found - and the purchases we ended up making. We've been LOVING the ones we bought, and thought you may like them, too!

My wife and I are empty nesters and recently bought two Pelican Argo 100XR's. We have a place on a lake and on those calm days, we are out. I have fished most of my life but because of these kayak, I am actually learning to fish. Great fun and cheers from New Brunswick Canada.
