Man I wish I could get two Sun knives here in Canada! I love so many of them, but our shipping laws are ridiculous and no Canadian distributors carry them that I know of. Great list!
I like the TS208 with the persian blade just cannot seem to find them. Hoping WMK gets some in soon. I really appreciate the rundown. They have some really nice looking and functional blades.
Your top 3 are excellent choices ! 👍👍 they’re all wonderful knives to won for a collection . No fricken way will I spend $600 for a knife . There’s boundaries but I understand artistry and designers and materials for collecting .
I don’t tell people anymore I’m into knives . They think it’s weird , lol. There’s nothing wrong with having hobbies . People collect all kids of things .
Guns too. You're either going to have a positive conversation about guns or shooting sports or hunting or self defense, or you're going see them recoil in fear and immediately think you're a danger to them😂
Thanks brother! A few more for me to get when funds allow. They need to do the Lockdown in a premium steel. That one and the Bronc look like customs. I would add the TS380, which is a bit of a brute but so ergonomic and slices well. and the TS223 as someone else mentioned. Another winner. I think I have around 40 now. Bit harder here I Australia (and the wait time feels interminable). Thanks again- make sure you post the new stuff as it comes in.
Yeah, no problem! Apologies for taking so long to get this out. I had been working on my list and testing out some of my choices before finally narrowing it down to these 10. It was difficult to decide with all the great Twosun knives I have so far, but it probably would have been even harder to choose if I had some more models that I've yet to acquire. I also have a couple new Twosuns that I've yet to show that would've probably made this list, but I'm saving those for volume 4. The TS380 and TS223 Monarch are on my immediate to buy list. I really want the TS380, but haven't had a chance to purchase one since I mainly get all my Twosuns from White Mountain Knives, so it all depends on what's in stock at the time. It reminds me a lot of the TS270 in the sense of functionality, where they both are brutes, but have thin slicey geometry. Man, that's gotta be a bit tough being a Twosun collector in Australia! Sounds like you're doing pretty well though, but I can see why these Twosun videos come in handy to decide on making the best purchases. Thanks as always for watching, glad you enjoyed, and I'll have more out soon!
@@spanishnavaja . Funny- after your video I had a look at DH gate and the Mazwan almost hawksbill model was there. First time I’d seen it available anywhere. I think the TS380 might slice better than the TS223 - need to do a few tests but it is an impressive piece. And I can’t find anything about the designer(?)
Nice! Sounds like you've got a lot of the must haves. I recently got the TS223, which is a fantastic knife and I think you're referring to the TS129, which is probably even better. Twosun has also recently released an updated natural micarta version of the TS129 in D2 steel. It looks great, the micarta they're using is way better than their previous stuff, so that might be a worthwhile option to check out. What other Twosun's do you have?
Maybe someday you can do a top five Two Sun budget knives video? Like in the $50 range, give or take $10. Two Sun is a knife brand I know nothing about🤷. I'm not even sure if they make any $50 knives lol, I would think they do🤷. Anyway I'm glad I found your channel I'll be looking at some of your videos trying to find Two Sun knives in that price range 👍. ✌️
At the moment, I don't currently own either of those models unfortunately, but they are on my immediate to buy list. I buy my Twosuns primarily from White Mountain Knives, so it all depends on what is in stock and what I'm able to afford at the time. If I had those two, they would most likely be in the top 10. I know for sure the TS380 would be. That knife checks a lot of boxes for me. It looks like a beautiful brute that can slice for days. I didn't know they were doing a non stonewashed version, but I would rather have the stone washed blade. The TS223 Monarch is probably Jelly Jerry's cleanest design with the bolsters and symmetrical construction of carbon fiber scales on both sides. The lines on that knife show a simple elegance at its finest for the price point. Along with that large full flat ground blade, what's not to like? It's a fantastic piece.
I like them too and kubeys . More for the value and action than anything but I m not a fan of d2 lately . Whatever you like is what you like , respectable bro .
It would be nice if you listed the knives in order in your description. Even using affiliate links to help offset your time making the list! Making a timeline would also be helpful. There are a few different ones that I would really like to get, but trying to figure out where in the video to get the model/name is a pain. Otherwise, very good presentation and keep up the work!! Thank you!!
I can add that now that the video has gotten some views. I didn't do it originally since I wanted people to actually watch the video to see what my top ten are instead of just going to the description and finding out immediately without caring to stick around for more than a minute.
That's a bit tough since I don't really have much under the 3" mark that has a flipper for Twosun knives. The TS204 Bronc is probably the best one under 3" blade. The TS102 and TS57 are on the smaller side, but harder to find. The TS195, TS196, TS38 are all like 3.25". That's pretty much all I can recommend that I own. The TS338, TS319, TS341, TS180, TS264, TS174, and TS136 are all non back flippers that are also on the smaller side that I would recommend. Half of them are also front flippers with either a thumb hole or stud.
Hey, I didn't see this comment, sorry about that. Twosun's I have that are on the smaller side I would recommend are the TS264, TS195, TS196, TS319, the TS174 especially is a fantastic smaller Twosun, probably my favorite. Others I would suggest are the TS338, TS341, and the TS204 Bronc which is in this video, is on the smaller side too.
Funny enough, with as many as I have already and that one having a really cool and interesting construction, I've still yet to pick up that model, but it's on my list.
Are you asking in reference to Twosun knives or just knives in general? If you're asking about Twosun, there's nothing I can think of that hits those dimensions. They don't do a lot of black blades and/or serrations.
@@spanishnavaja ok, thank you , yes i mean in general , as close to 4" blade as possible ?, love talking knives/gear here , got any budget friendly/cheap $ stuff ? knives/gear, etc ?, thanks > tom !
Navaja look the megalodon could use a longer choil as well . These are just my opinions. Please don’t anyone get mad it’s fine the way it is I understand
The TS162 edge milling of the whole body of the knife is just one big hot spit, terrible. Have you actually used this knife for 5 minutes continuously, because I don't think you have or you would know this already?
I just saw this comment, so I'm kind of late replying. I have used this knife and I can't say I share the same experience as you do, but we all have different hand sizes and perceptions. The knife feels fine and comfortable in my hand. I'm also left handed and use the knife with my left hand, so I don't have the clip in the way causing more hotspot issues that right handed people will most likely experience. That makes a huge difference ergonomically, but I try to mention how it feels in the right hand as well and it's not bad either. If I'm bearing down my grip on it continuously, yeah it's going to get uncomfortable regardless of hand usage, but that can be said about almost every other knife. I'm not really picking up any hotspots for myself holding it normally.
I believe I currently have 68 at the moment. A decent amount, but with how many Twosun knives are out there and all the great ones I have yet to own, my top ten list can only be so good at the moment. This list would probably be vastly different if I had twice as many Twosun knives to choose from.
Good review.
Very much enjoyed that. Unpretentious and down to earth,. Great job.

My favorite is the TS177. Absolutely love Tepe's knives.

Yes! Been waiting for this one🙏

Do you have either the TS 223 or the TS380? If so what do you think of them? Like a few of your top ten. Thanks
Missed that you also mentioned the 380. It’s my current fave. Wish I had the stonewashed version but in any case- awesome blade.

How many twosun knives do you have?
These all seem a little too big for me, any smaller TwoSun that you would recommend?

I only have one Twosun knife, the TS88, and I like it.
Funny enough, with as many as I have already and that one having a really cool and interesting construction, I've still yet to pick up that model, but it's on my list.
I've got it. Haven't carried it as I had to pay like $180 for it but it's a cool one. I won't be using that one
new sub here brotha , got any knives around a 4" blade in tanto/w partial serration in black possibly ? , thanks > tom !

Either them or kizer for sure.
