I recently purchased a TwoSun TS43. I LOVE this knife. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm already looking to acquire a few more. They are AWESOME, QUALITY, WELL BUILT knives.
I have 9 TwoSuns, The TS243 is my favorite so far. The carbon fiber scales are mesmerizing and they are so comfortable. It has titanium liners/back spacer, milled titanium pocket clip and 14C28N tall flat grind with excellent geometry. Front fliper and regular flipper tab make it enjoyable to fidget with. Definitely recommend. WMK gets them occasionally and with 10% off it came to $78. Definitely the best value knife in my +50 knife collection.
Stigmas!!! TwoSun & Kubey are making some great knives it shouldn’t matter that they’re Chinese. Still looking to acquire a TS166 it’s design is glorious, very Art Deco. Kubey has great customer service and presence on Instagram, I mentioned in a comment about wanting a particular custom color knife. When I woke up the next morning they had written a PM saying they still had one available!!! My other favorite TwoSun has a copper inlay, thing is it’s unfortunately a slip joint. Nice overview and reviews, keep’ em rolling!

I have acquired nearly all of the two sun knives. eBay is the best place to get them. I also have tons of spydercos, WE knives, Kizer, Medford’s, Citadel...essentially my knife rotation is months long before I get back to the same knife. Two Sun knives are right up there with all the others.
I have a number of TwoSun knives...and my experience is that they just get better and better. I just received a TS137 Front-Flippin’ cleaver. The design, milling and action is just incredible... only downside I found was a relatively sharp outside edge on the CF front scale ... which I quickly took down with some wet/dry sandpaper. It’s a LOT of knife for $62.99. (CF, Ti, & D2)...IT’S GORGEOUS! I have another one coming from DHGate...can’t wait!
I bought a TwoSun about 1.5 to 2 years ago I'm not sure the model number but it's a tepe design. It's all Mico milled titanium with a bowie style blade in s110v and after shipping and everything it was only $120 and I swear the action is smoother than my Shirogorov f3. I don't see how TwoSun could be making these knives to the quality they do for what they sell them for. Alot of people will never know just how good TwoSun knives are because they refuse to buy a knife made in China. I try to buy mostly USA made stuff but I figured I would try one when I saw s110v for such a low price.
I haven't checked out any of their slipjoints yet but I have heard good things. They have been on my list for a while now but cant decide which one I like best, which one is your favorite?
@@bakpakb there's a bunch, but the only one I can remember is the ts221. The stock on it is nearly 4mm, that's like fixed blade thick, not cutting lemons for gin and tonic (like a real gentleman) thick!
@tidge879 I have a couple and the stock is not thin. The builds are superb, even better than on their framelocks, but like most TS knives hefty stock is used. I have the TS164 with a modern design & ingenious backspring tensor, and the more traditional 252 .
I've had maybe 10 twosuns over the last couple of years and I gotta say that for the money they are hard to beat. On top of that I have never had any issues whatsoever, the fit & finish has always been superb. Great video 👊🏻😷👍🏻

Great video and was ready to bash you in my head when i seen your truth about twosun 😆 then i seen we agree on everything about them, we love this company, they cover the little details that the larger companies charge allot more for like reverse detent tracks exc.. Im sure you know but tc4 ti is chinese version of 6al4v ti that the US uses, its the same. Great channel 🛎 and 👍
Love them, own about ten. On rare occasions you will get one that doesn't have the most reliable lockup but it doesn't happen often. Tangli, a TwoSun dealer on Amazon, is very good if ebay annoys you.
Great topic. I do love the twosun knives I own, but I've been reluctant to take the plunge with one of their more premium knives with higher end steels because of the rumors that travel through the forums about their s90v and such not performing like other s90v from bigger brands. I really like how they pump out tons of designs, and work with talented designers. I do plan to get an m390 blade from them, but I have become more convinced based on the ones I've bought. I'm also from Jersey and have purchased 2 Twosun knives the ts129 in m390 and the ts49 in d2. These knives are on par or if not better than some of my $400 knives. Twosun has got my vote.
Ya aftet watching many videos on higher end knives I wanted to see if the TS were as good as people were saying. I got the ts-21 and the ts-16-G10 on order from eBay. Can't wait to getem in my hand and flip the blade out.
Idk About twosuns S90v Cedric and ada outdoors did a cut test between a twosun, and a spyderco with S90v. The spyderco outcut the twosun by a wide margin. Was it a fluke? Was I it really S90v? Who knows

@@bakpakb the version I have is unique, high quality, larger than expected. They have a smaller type that seems to sell for 20 bucks or so. It's a different design.

And BTW, customer service is never an issue. They will not accept a return at all, they always just refund your money, or send a new one, and tell you to keep it. I've had lots of dealings with them and never did they want any knife sent back.

There are 5 different companies making some version of that knife and TwoSun makes an upgrade to that version with titanium scales. Kubey (titanium scales D-2 blade), Eafengrow (G-10, D-2) and a few others with various materials and blade shapes have a model 90% similar to that knife but the TS21.. that's my grail.
My ts49s fit and finish is by far the poorest of the 10 or so I have. My ts224 in s90v could be passed off as 1 of WE's finest. Way better than many $200 knives iv had

Awesome Chinese heavy hitting knife companies: -kizer -civivi -QSP -artisan -we knifes Theses guys are the real deal, using high end material and super steels, and frankly making alot more beautiful and interesting designs than the same ol same ol that USA companies seem to be pumping out. I'll have to try twoson, never owned one.

How do you determine lock up? Just visually? Or caliper measure? Just curious, no negative.

I'm super interested in the designs of some of their slip joints. The only thing that's making me hesitate is how thick the stock is on most of them.

I do wish they were more available. I dont care about shipping speed,but I'd like to see them working with a big us distributor.

They have a guy handling customer service in the US. Go through eBay or Ali and they'll sort it out.
