Texas. Formerly NJ. Semi retired mechanic and service advisor/manager. I've worked for German make service departments and owned a few. I have a 2015 Sonata Sport 2.0T Limited and love the car. Eighteen months and 24 000 miles in with no regrets. Took a near 4000 mile road trip with it across the desert Southwest a few months back. Fantastic road trip car. Sport mode is a pet peeve of mine as well. Sometimes I just want the stiffer steering without the transmission hanging gears to near Red Line at part throttle. They definitely need to separate the two. As for the G80... I always thought the original Genesis was a good looking car. This one is even more handsome. I look at them whenever I bring my car in for service. I've sat in a couple. Amazing how far Hyundai has come. And yes that is from someone who worked for and owned German cars. Either this or the Kia Stinger will be my next car. Even though I'm semi-retired and don't have a nine-to-five to rush off to every day, I will probably purchase this one just as I did my Sonata. I don't want to have to worry about mileage restrictions.
This is my third Genesis. Finally moving up to the G80 sport all wheel drive. I bought it the same as my other two. I am from Hamilton Ontario Canada. Best bang for the buck.
Spent countless hours of car review video viewings and car review article readings. Checking out brands all in the top luxury brand tiers. Then the G80 Sport was released , and all that research changed over to this car. After viewing Audi's (the new fully loaded S5 sportback to be particular), AMG43, and ATS-V sedan, I ultimately went with the G80 Sport. Sure the power is not as high as the previous, but the safety, reliability, cost to own and purchase outright fully loaded all equaled to a very pleasing offer. And 0-60 in 5.0 seconds (Car & Driver instrument testing confirmed) is nothing to snear at. All under 60k, on a high strength steel frame. That really appealed to me in a old fashioned way. She's a big girl, but she drives with confidence, and is unqiue enough to crack enough necks turning to take a look. Love it, way to go Genesis. Looks like the dream design team paid off, and I have full confidence the brand will continue to take off and grow exponentially over the years to come. Great review MotoMan. Thanks to reviewers like you, others are waking up to this great vehicle.
Ahhh - perfect Video for my lunch brake. MotoManTV is really one of the best Car channels on TH-cam. The Quality of your reviews is amazing. THX a lot of the nice Video now!
I would definitely buy it rather than leasing, and at that buy a used one. A 2 year old Genesis with the base V6 and around 30k miles can be had between 25-30k and to me that seems like an excellent value, especially given the length of Hyundai's warranties. Writing from North Carolina
The only thing about the warranty is that the 100,000 mile warranty is only for the original owner. If it's sold used then the next owner only gets a 60,000 mile warranty....at least that's what I was told when I bought my hyundai azera used.
I just bought one of these with 22k miles on it. 2018 G80 Sport model with all wheel drive in Siberian Ice. It gets delivered on Friday and I am very excited.
From Dubai here! Speaking on behalf of dad. He usually got interested in the Genesis brand and he says he would buy it because he usually keeps his cars for over 5 years.
1) Never leasing. Paying the steep depreciation and end up with nothing in the end. 2) Buying it. Great value and genesis's warranty is best in class. 3.) I live in florida so rwd and high torque is fine!
I’m in the Northwest and would rather buy. Tried to negotiate and talk about the car with the local Hyundai dealers, because there aren’t independent Genesis dealerships. In any case, I knew more about the 1) car specs 2) local sales pricing (the G80 Sport I was looking at) has been on the lot for months and wouldn’t budge down from MSRP. So, even if I would consider leasing, it’s always best to negotiate sale price prior to any monthly lease payment. In summary, if Genesis wants to get these cars on the road, they need to separate the Hyundai team from the internal Genesis sales team. I haven’t seen a single G80 Sport out here and there are multiple Hyundai dealerships within 15 miles of one another. These cars are sitting on the lots.
A Pennsylvania native currently exiled deep behind Confederate lines in Tennessee. German luxury car badge elitists will never appreciate the value of this car. It has just enough performance and near luxury touches to make it a worthy alternative to its BMW, Audi, and Mercedes counterparts. The included as standard tech features alone vs the overpriced option packages offered by German automakers should entice buyers into Hyundai/Genesis dealers.
I am in Georgia USA and Lease is my preferred option becasue I like to flip cars every few years. When I do settle down I might purchase a Genesis when they get their dealer situation sorted out.
Love the segment change claps. I'm buying the AWD version of this car next month. I'm buying because I don't like mileage restrictions (or penalties) and I may decide to keep it for many years. Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia here.
I'd buy it. One reason is the great ten year bumper to bumper. Also these things are famously reliable and I like to hang on to cars if they deserve it.
LOL!!!! While he has been taking a break because of the heat at our shoot location he has been fooling around while on vacation - here's proof: instagram.com/p/BZKVMp5g8CN/
"It drives the wheels that God intended". Gosh this guy is freaking hilarious in the most subtle of ways. Writing from Illinois. I'd buy because it's a phenomenal value, my local dealer offers a lifetime warranty (even on pre owned cars) and they offer an all wheel drive model that would be great for the winters here. And it's sexy. Very sexy.
The answer is - buy one pre-owned after the lease is up! We did, and our 2016 Genesis is awesome. It cost about $43 including shipping from Korea to turn it into a G80 with badging! The car is just perfect for what we wanted and less than half sticker price.
You are correct Gary. I've been buying cars off 4 year leases for 25+ years for cash (no financing) and have almost never been sorry! All the enjoyment at less than half price from new. Must buy quality used so I'm looking at this 2018 G80 3.3t Sport to buy in late 2021. She might be the one!
Forgot to put in why/where I am from Memphis Tennessee and I am currently searching for a luxury/sport vehicle and my first choice was S Class. To make a long story short during research of various vehicles in this category I sort of settled on the CT6 but kept thinking about the the Equus after shelving the Merc because didn’t want the high maintenance cost of owning an used luxury vehicle. I test drove the Equus and liked everything it had but the newer replacement G90 and the 80 blew me away with all the standard stuff that’s otherwise optional on other vehicles which is why I am not going to get anything other than a G80 now whether that 3.3T or V8 stay tuned and thanks for the video. I believe that you’re the one who had the review of the CT6 too me and my son really enjoyed that one also.
Ok, I would purchase because if the length of the warranty. Although the initial cost places these cars in the bargain category for sport luxury sedans, parts are prohibitively expensive. Riding out the full term of the warranty is the best way to get the best enjoyment from a car that is great to drive as a daily. the anemic 12k per year lease options are so limiting that you have a low cost to enjoyment factor.
Daniel Castaneda yes true but because it doesn’t have separate identity yet, and you still deal with Hyundai sales and Service , it took an extra 10 -15% hit. Which is awesome cos next time... I’ll buy a 2018 g70 6 mins or months old, for mmm $35k lol.
Sαисτus Gεrmαιn genesis depreciation is the highest across the board, and I'm not talking just in its segment, I mean of all cars. Luxury cars are always on the worse end of depreciation that is true, lexus and bmw actually fair very well in their segment, but compared to something like a non luxury car such as a Toyota it's not even close. genesis is a tough sell, poor depreciation and a so so interior with a so so engine, it's only selling point is it's the cheapest car in its segment, and for the starting price it's a good deal, but if you forget about money it is still at the bottom of the pack.
I truly admire these cars and what they stand for. Less is MORE, they have aligned with the every type of driver, there is more than just a little something to consider for those who choose to acknowledge the value. Jahan from Atlanta Georgia and I would do whatever I can to bring value and business to this brand. I would buy or lease. Buy because it is worth keeping, but I would also consider leasing for the trend of trading up and testing out all their new tech for the world to see. I am an individual who actually admires and utilizes new tech as it arrives. Sign me up !
Buy! At 16 months old and 8,000 miles my Genesis was well under half price in England! Over here we only have one model - 3.8 with premium pack (incl heated and cooled, reclining rear seats) but we only have the 14 speaker touchscreen radio and the glossy wood. There are no options available here. Just take the Genesis as it is!
Market research is infinitely easier since we've got the Internet. When you comment with you're preferences, well that's automatic feedback. In the pas it took weeks to get feedback on any product and that was expensive too. Companies still do all types of things to gain opinions about their products, but videos like this are playing an increasingly larger part.
Montreal, QC here. I currently lease my 2016 Hyundai Genesis sedan but my next vehicle will be a purchase. I’m beyond impressed with my genesis. My only problem is figuring out what engine to go with next. Stick with the 3.8? Jump up to the sport TT 3.3? Or go big with the 5.0? Fuel economy is not a major concern. I’m not achieving anything above 15MPG combined (15-16l/100km) so the turbo engine or the v8 will be the same for me.
From NYC. Buy, because I love to take care of MY car. I treat a lease like I do a rental. Famous racecar driver when asked, what is the fastest car, he said rental! Because you just don’t care!
I have a question for you: should Genesis consider putting in a 2.0 Turbo 4 cyl engine just like Audi did with the A6? I’m thinking a 260hp / 290-300lbs torque as a base model that could potentially replace the 3.8?
I will buy it once it return as a lease return , two to three years out because of the price I will get it for , and the warranty that it will still have ! The price should be about 40% lower and you still have that great warranty on it with low mileage ..
I bought a 2017 g80.. not the sport version.. i always liked how the car looked, i was torn between this and an audi a6.. but the g80 highest trim package cost far less than well equip a6 not even fully loaded. Ontop of that the g80 warranty is far supperior and i figured that maintaining this car would cost less than an A6. I drove a 20010 a6 before switching to the 2017 g80 and i loved driving it but didn't like the maintence costs of it. So figured id try something new, went for the g80 and im a big fan.. also a lot of people ask you about the car :p also region is ontario canada. got the AWD package of the car.. since im canadian and all :p
I would buy it and start new trend, tired of seeing stuck up folks driving in there BMWs Audis Mercedes-Benz infinities I feel like a start a new culture with the Genesis great value car and very stylish
US: Buy. Seems like a good vehicle and the money saved on sticker can be used for upgrades like wrapping, wheels (although those are nice), and stereo. Had a 2011 740Li which i loved but the noisy breaks and other little things made it not worth it.
I buy, eat the loss, trade in when I want something else (I live in Arizona so the tax is paid on the difference in value as well as your registration carries over). Sometimes I do well, sometimes I don't, but this is my first real tackling at getting a luxury car, and honestly, I am just not seeing myself buy a Cadillac new, slightly used probably.
Lease, Luxury cars regardless of the brand experience the most depreciation by far so returning the car after 3 years when it's worth less than it's residual is not a bad idea (if you get a good lease), and I'm an American
For the brand, moving into separate dealerships can't come soon enough. They need their own network to break away from the Hyundai image. They are facing struggles like Lexus was in the 90s - being associated with cheap Toyota products. They should also really consider their own performance brand. I know they said no to Hyundai's "N" already, but they may need something. Either way, it is amazing how much better a product this is than a comparably priced Lexus GS (for drivers at least). I would buy a 3.3t Sport (preferably used). With a reputation for reliability, separate dealer network, and the great warranty, resale values may eventually combat Lexus.
Genesis twin turbo was to compete with the twin turbo from Infiniti. Though the Red Sport 400 is faster than the Genesis twin turbo which is also in the KiA Stinger GT
For me, I can't say for sure, but I would think buying this car lightly used would be the way to go. This is a car that would make a fantastic daily driver or road tripper - I can say that confidently having driven the V8 model through Turo for a few days. I thoroughly enojoyed it and have in all seriousness added it to my short list for next go-around. It was very comfortable, had lots of power, looked handsome, and being a rental, it had over 60,000 miles with no rattles. That said, these do seem to be leasing decently well at the moment, so the temptation of having a brand-new, warrantied car is there. If I had my mind set on this car, I would probably try and find a certified pre-owned example first. I can already say with some conviction this is the type of car I could see myself owning for several years, so leasing makes less sense than buying. I'm in the Kansas City, MO area. Currently I drive a 2016 Lexus IS 300 AWD. :)
Hou, TX Definitely buying. Own the Gen I and it I'd a much better ride than the harsh euros, and the power is simple with the Tau engine. G80 in less than two years for sure. Did I mention the outstanding warranty.
tech way behind other brands, like the design but lacks modern technologie. example: the usb, other brands can load ur cellphone wireless (like the new volvo's)
Tell genesis that they need to make the rear seats 60/40 fold down or 40/20/40 fold down if they do that they'll have a true winner and I'll be buying one asap!
if i could lease it for 350/mo range i would lease it, bang around for 3 years and then return it to get something else because in 3 years, autonomous driving, apple carplay and many other technologies will improve so much that i will want them in my car and genesis will probably stop updating software on this car after some point so in 3 years i will be feeling like using windows 98 :)
did he say resale is good hahaha. this car will lose half of its value in 2 years. never buy it new, let someone take the massive hit and buy it with 20k miles
I'm gonna have to go with neither, M. I was at the Hyundai dealership last night to ask about financing a Sonata since its one of the candidates for our next car & I didn't like the way they treated me there, one of the employees refused to give me information & the other one flat out told me you can't afford it to get rid of me ... Its a frickin Hyundai, not a Rolls Royce. It reminded me of my Kia days ... Fuck em. On the topic of the Genesis Sport, I saw it last night there (alongside the new Azera). While its kinda cool in person, they are asking way too much for it & I'd rather have a CTS or a 5-series for that kind of money. I agree the wheels are cool. As always excellent work, M.
I would say you shouldn't let a specific dealership sway you from a product. But at the same time, I understand - I've had similar issues with the Audi dealership closest to me. My next car simply won't be an Audi.
That's a bit of a silly reason to not like a car. Did a car treat you badly or a person who works at a Dealership which has nothing to do with the car manufacturer Hyundai? I can buy a Hyundai dealership, hire who I want and treat my clients how I want, it does not make the cars any better or worse. Buy a car if it's right for you and go to another dealership or avoid speaking to sales reps.
I enjoy your videos, but if I did a shot every time you said "unpack" I'd be drunk after every video you make! 4x this time. Ok, so I'm a bit of a lightweight these days.
wait wait wait, THIS car has a 3.3 V6 TWIN turbo but produces only 365 hp? and 0-60 in 5.2 secs? WTF, the S60 Polestar only packs a 4 banger with one turbo and gives 367 hp and 0-60 in 4.5 secs. How is this possible? to have a freaking V6 put to shame by an inline 4? what are the genesis engineers doing?, twiddling their thumbs?
TheArrogantOne You look truly hate this company. Your same comment on every new Hyundai Kia car. Some cars are purposed for durability and stability rather than short living peak performance. They offer loooong warranty as you know. Ever thought about it?
absolutely not, actually I have no opinion about this company, I hate Toyota, and lexus by extension, but kia, genesis and hyundai are neutral for me. and you grossly exaggerate, I posted 3 times the same comment on 3 videos talking about THIS and only THIS car. so I do expect you to retract that accusation. anyway my comments were to show people that big engines dont always have the best performance, you know , like all the V8 crazed crowd.
Lease!!! We've been cash buyers for years on a middle class budget by putting money away on a monthly basis until we have the right amount saved up for our purchase. The result is a new car every 10 years "BORING". After finally convincing my Sweetheart that pride of ownership an't all it's cracked up to be, particularly when it comes to an automobile, we have decided to lease our next vehicle for the same amount of monthly funds we've been stuffing away for that next new car purchase. A new car, especially from the line up of cars hitting the market, every 39 months, is a heck of a lot more fun!
Hopefully the turbo 3.3 V6 isnt the same engine as the 2012-2017 Hyundai Azera just tuned and turbo, there is a major flaw with the timing chain and cam phasers had timing chains and guides and exhaust cam phasers replaced 2 times once at 43k and again at 57k and timing chain slack noise cam back twice, Hyundai put in a brand new "updated" engine in 2016 problem was suppose-ably corrected in newer engines and now at 66,500 miles the noise has started on the new engine I thought it was something to do with the base oil dealer was using, since 57k and with the brand new engine I have been using ultra full synthetic mobile 1 and the noise still just came back about 2 weeks ago, love the car and power and features lately but I have been looking at the Equus and g80 and g90 just afraid to go through a new purchase fear this engine problem will show up again in another Hyundai/ Genesis. Also resale is horrible pay $39k for the car and 3 and half years later cars worth $11k
I would lease this, but I am not interested. This car is too heavy, and the fuel economy is low. I have a 2014 Corvette Z51 stingray that gets much better MPG. Still, this is a very nice car, and lots of cool things going on. Just not for me.

Gorgeous Genesis Vehicle!
I bought a G80 low tech V6. Great car but terrible fuel economy. I plan on keeping it for some time.
Red Fred Some lightweight wheels and good breathing exhaust give you another 1-3mpg.
Red Fred I think its on par with a 333hp engine of any kind, not much worse or better in terms of mpg.
Its not that bad stop complaining enjoy the 🚗
RED FRED.. Question for you. Does this car connect to Android devices or does it require an apple to fully connect?

I just traded my 2014 Lexus GS 350 F Sport for a 2015 Genesis 3.8 Ultimate. The Genesis is an excellent value and lower cost of maintenance.
This guy really knows his stuff.
Kumo is starting to slack, this is what happens when you become a star.I bet you he's with a bunch of supermodels in the south of France.

I'm from Va and would buy. Currently have an Infiniti M35x w 100k miles and am ready for a change.
I hail from Knoxville, TN. Love The Video & Product knowledge about Genesis.
I would buy. Leasing is the most expensive way to operate a vehicle.
I'm considering leasing a G80 Sport. I don't drive a lot of miles since I work at home.

Lease I don't keep my cars to long. Perhaps until I find that special car like my old 88 all trac celica! Ahhh memories 😂great review moto man
Hopefully resale value is better than 2016... as my $52k car is worth $29k lol* great cars buy 1 a year old and save $25k

Sαисτus Gεrmαιn Well think of it this way, you could have spent 80+ for the same features from another brand and lost over 40k by now
Daniel Draghici Very True - Only thing I miss is HPower, where’s the Power Power - finally the g70 g80 deliver a lil more ....

I am from Oman and recently bought G80 3.3t 2018 imported from Florida.
Definitely buy it rather than lease the Genesis G80 Sport. In Canada we need all wheel drive. Excellent value.

I’m not achieving anything above 15MPG combined (15-16l/100km) so the turbo engine or the v8 will be the same for me.
bacvain I will say go with turbo engine. You will use low end torque more than high Rev V8, plus you will get special suspension on turbo model too.
I'm thinking buy the sport but not for the engine. I would do it for the adaptive suspension.
The Genesis G chassis reminds me of what Toyota did with fhe x-chassis, both 4 door sedan variants with 6 cylinder turbo options
This genesis looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will buy it once it return as a lease return , two to three years out because of the price I will get it for , and the warranty that it will still have ! The price should be about 40% lower and you still have that great warranty on it with low mileage ..
I’m going to eventually get either this or the V8 version of this car although I would prefer this over the V8.
Toyota Crown
Boom I get it
I bought a 2017 g80.. not the sport version.. i always liked how the car looked, i was torn between this and an audi a6.. but the g80 highest trim package cost far less than well equip a6 not even fully loaded.
Is it reliable ? It start with no problems -30 °?
Buy, 2015-2016 used. Depreciation is pretty heavy and the base V6 can run on regular gas.
John Ward all Genesis can run on regular gas
Nice
From Texas, plan to buy used maybe CPO. Drive too much for lease to make sense on value.
Looking at the AWD version tomorrow. Looking to purchase. Trading in my 2016 Accord CoupeV6 Touring as I have moved to rural Alberta in Canada.
Thats a cool car. But i just want that suspension tune in the coupe lol.
I live in New York City . Which option would you recommend for me? Lease or buy.
All answers here: th-cam.com/play/PLF6ek7dWy48oxjOzUSoq5HRLvM2zl4YFk.html
I would buy it and start new trend, tired of seeing stuck up folks driving in there BMWs Audis Mercedes-Benz infinities I feel like a start a new culture with the Genesis great value car and very stylish
Buy it because Hyundai has been dependable for me. I also drive too much. Located in Illinois!
US: Buy. Seems like a good vehicle and the money saved on sticker can be used for upgrades like wrapping, wheels (although those are nice), and stereo. Had a 2011 740Li which i loved but the noisy breaks and other little things made it not worth it.
G80 looking good
I buy, eat the loss, trade in when I want something else (I live in Arizona so the tax is paid on the difference in value as well as your registration carries over). Sometimes I do well, sometimes I don't, but this is my first real tackling at getting a luxury car, and honestly, I am just not seeing myself buy a Cadillac new, slightly used probably.
Todd from North Port Florida. I would probably buy one then wait for the warranty to run out then modify the power plant.
Lease, Luxury cars regardless of the brand experience the most depreciation by far so returning the car after 3 years when it's worth less than it's residual is not a bad idea (if you get a good lease), and I'm an American
Buy rather than lease. For.my reasons?? Cause it has the motor I want in a vehicle plain and simple✌
But alas, I digress, and in the interim I want to leave you with this question...
Robert LeBlanc but there's something else we need to unpack
If he says Unpack just one more time I am going to eat my own head.
definley want on but ill wait 2 or three years
For the brand, moving into separate dealerships can't come soon enough.
MrCarGuy20 happy to report they're doing fine sells wise.
G90 - 1,916
A8-- 1756
LS - 1,555
XJ - 1,168
*G80 - 6,390
A6 -- 4,564
GS - 2,907
XF - 1,984
Good job genesis
I want to see a 5.0 twin turbo TAU V8
Hou, TX Definitely buying. Own the Gen I and it I'd a much better ride than the harsh euros, and the power is simple with the Tau engine. G80 in less than two years for sure. Did I mention the outstanding warranty.
The crown is the Toyota upscale to the Avalon
I'd purchase as I drive too much for a lease to be beneficial in terms of savings. I hail from LA.
The new iPhone costs as much as good down payment 10 years ago...
Please tell me I dont need to buy a GD Apple phone... Will an Android connect to this magnificent slice of vehicle?
Mr. E Yes Android Auto works as well.
Yes. It works really well with Android.
tech way behind other brands, like the design but lacks modern technologie. example: the usb, other brands can load ur cellphone wireless (like the new volvo's)
This car does have wireless charging. The USB is just extra
Tell genesis that they need to make the rear seats 60/40 fold down or 40/20/40 fold down if they do that they'll have a true winner and I'll be buying one asap!
One of my biggest complaints about my Genesis. Good note.
I would buy it and I live in Texas.
if i could lease it for 350/mo range i would lease it, bang around for 3 years and then return it to get something else because in 3 years, autonomous driving, apple carplay and many other technologies will improve so much that i will want them in my car and genesis will probably stop updating software on this car after some point so in 3 years i will be feeling like using windows 98 :)
elvir salmanov 350/month then 10k/3yrs. You can lease a civic if you are lucky enough lol
For 350 a month hahahah u get the hyundai elantra 1.6 base model lol
did he say resale is good hahaha. this car will lose half of its value in 2 years. never buy it new, let someone take the massive hit and buy it with 20k miles
Which part of the world do I hail from? The Philippines... where we don't get jack shit.
I would run it into the ground!! First month would be an easy 6,000 miles. Upstate New York
Nice socks!
The Genesis looks better than the Lexus.
IceDree it’s not a dealership fault that you have a shit credit. LMAO 😂
I would buy
Why didn't you mention Android auto?
I enjoy your videos, but if I did a shot every time you said "unpack" I'd be drunk after every video you make! 4x this time. Ok, so I'm a bit of a lightweight these days.
yeah... it is sports car... tiburon coupe
Oh, BTW. Nice socks
Thanks!
I know I’m going to get burned, but why not an electric hybrid
... so a lease until a hybrid or electric hybrid is offered. Please Hyundai
Top G80
I would lease it
Car value goes down too fast
San Jose, CA
wait wait wait, THIS car has a 3.3 V6 TWIN turbo but produces only 365 hp? and 0-60 in 5.2 secs? WTF, the S60 Polestar only packs a 4 banger with one turbo and gives 367 hp and 0-60 in 4.5 secs. How is this possible? to have a freaking V6 put to shame by an inline 4? what are the genesis engineers doing?, twiddling their thumbs?
TheArrogantOne
You look truly hate this company.
Cuz this car is more heavier than s60
not by much
TheArrogantOne Genesis is much heavier
Brotha!! You need to educate your brethren re leasing vs purchasing a car. Please show them the truth!
That color doe mmfffff
Lease because of lower payments & NY/ NJ
What the fuck is going on with the transitional clapping
You mentioned apple car play but not android auto. I stopped watching! Thumbs down!
bassistdc it comes with both, he should have stated that but apparently he's a i fanboy.
DOOOD that is great news!!! Thanx G's Mail!!
It has Android Auto
I know but he would have mentioned it if he wasn't an IPhone fanboy.
buy uaed
I would lease this, but I am not interested. This car is too heavy, and the fuel economy is low. I have a 2014 Corvette Z51 stingray that gets much better MPG. Still, this is a very nice car, and lots of cool things going on. Just not for me.
