Thecarkid 11 the light you are referring to on “Miamitown” is a flashing side marker light above the center of the rear patient compartment. That ambulance, made by Superior, also had 4 “bullet lights” facing rearward above the rear door, similar to the ones on the front above the windshield, as well as one or two loading lights for patient loading at night. At the time this video was taken, I owned the turquoise GMC ambulance sitting next to it.

I sometimes wonder whatever became of that Miamitown Superior ambulance as I understand it was sold by the Ohio owner and was taken to Texas(?). Miamitown Fire Department purchased another brand new 1970 Cadillac Superior Coach Co. ambulance that was a "twin" to a 1970 ambulance that the Delhi Township Fire Department purchased. Those ambulances were beautiful! --- John
