I typed out the pattern. Thought I'd share it for others to use :)
ch: chain
st: slip stitch
dc: double crochet
slip knot
ch 3
st into first
ch 3
10 dc
st into very top ch 3 space
ch 3
increase (2 dc) into all dc
st
ch 3
increase into every other dc
st
ch 3
increase into every third dc
st
ch 3
increase into every fourth dc
st
ch 3
increase into every fifth dc
st
ch 3
increase into every sixth dc
st
ch 3
increase into every seventh dc (unless you want it to be smaller)
st
Brim:
10 (or more) rounds of just one dc into every dc (don’t forget to ch 3 at the start of each round and to st at the end of each round)
ch 1
single crochet into every dc

What’s the difference between a regular double crochet and a increase?
a double crochet is just a double crochet yk and an increase is doing 2 single crochets in the same stitch
