If you want to do photo sessions or video while traveling, e.g. on the beach, will one Neo 3 on a tripod be enough to illuminate the model?

Good concept but that's all I have to say about it because mine stopped working after using it just once.
I'm not impressed.
Moreover, they now have a pro version which is an insult upon injury.

warranty it, they are great lights in my opinion. I have 3 that I got for open box pricing so I'm happy with the value, The new firmware is really good and using the elinchrom trigger is a really cool setup
