My wife and I just ran across this game at our local store. Had all the main books, Star Drive and Dark Matter. Picked up the whole set. Our group has been looking for a Sci Fi game, so we’re going to give this a go.
There was a Dragon article that converted the Star Frontiers races to Alternity. It occurs to me that putting the quick play rules in there might have been a nod to the original Star Frontiers boxed set that included a Basic Rulebook and then an Advanced rules book.
Alternity is the one rpg my roommate liked. She liked it so much that she even tried GMing it. For a non gamer that says something. She really loved Dark*Matter for it. The best X-Files not X-Files rpg ever made.
Thanks for your time & a great chat about TTRPGs.
Really enjoyed it dude thanks again!

Another great review! Had forgotten about this game. Never did get a chance to play it. Might have to remedy that. ☺️
Man I need to catch up on your videos. I remember this game coming out but I never saw it let alone play it. Very Cool. Thanks Cody
I only just heard of this recently and ordered the PHB and GMG both within the last 2 months. Of course you did a review on this too!
Love this old stuff bro and it's TSR

Man, there's a pile of memories....
Oh man, that game was killer.
I played in a Alterinity Mass Effect Game and we had a blast.
Yeah, Lockwood is an awesome artist, I met him and his wife at San Diego Comic-Con years ago.
Oh that actually sounds really awesome!
Always wanted to try it but never got the chance. I've still got the starter set box in the geek room.
I found this game an interesting read, couldn't get traction with my group
