In the review we said that the app wasn't open for every diver. But we were wrong!! Every diver can use the app as his logbook, you don't need the DeepBlu Cosmiq + for activation. Also almost every dive computer with a Bluetooth connection(Scubapro, Shearwater, Tusa) can use the Deepblu app and download the dives from there dive computer! So install the Deepblu app and use it as you logbook!!
I just bought the computer last week. It is my first dive computer because I am brand new to diving. Looking forward to using it on my checkout dives this month.
You keep referring to it as an entry level computer. What functionality do you feel is missing for an experienced rec diver who doesn't care about AI and electronic compasses and has no intent on advancing to tec diving??
Nothing really. For us a more advanced computer has air intergration, electric compass and the capability to go technical some day. If you are not in to this, the deepblu would be a great computer for you!

Hoy acabo de recibir mi Deepblu-Cosmiq. Vamos a estrenarla pronto. Tendria que traer mas opciones de Idiomas (Español). Parece un buen producto.

Very cool. But I wish it was smaller. Same screen size but smaller ”dive computer” house.
Maybe they will make one in the future. If one computer is ready for a wrist size model than it's this one!
