That's very legit cooler than I ever expected. I've been diving quite a long time, with lots of UW camera gear over the last 20 years, and virtually none of it is backwards or forwards compatible with new cameras I buy. To see it be backwards compatible with all those phones is super impressive. Very tempted now...

For the best diving you havev to come to Greece and especially in Santorini island there are quite a lot of places for diving. The waters are extremely interesting because of the volcano eruption, so its kinda deep, but no worries there are many people that can help you dive safely !! Also can wait to watch EVERY video you post now in the iPhone season... Really a huge fan haha

Great video!Heading there again in November. Another great dive destination in the Caribbean is The Cayman Islands. All three are great, but I think the best is definitely Little Cayman and stay with Little Cayman Beach Resort. The Island is small, and not much else to do there, but it is pretty. Also Bonaire in the Dutch Antilles. Very easy diving and beautiful coral. The Island is very nice with many great restaurants.

Another great dive video 👍🏻this Oceanic+ housing looks really good but what about a comparison between Oceanic+ and the Sealife housing for iPhone ? now there are 2 housings I don't know which one I should buy. 😄

Looks like a great case. I have heard that Bonaire (1,000 steps) is amazing! The big Island has a night dive with Manta Rays off the Kona coast, it was breathtaking! I must have seen 30 Manta Rays, so cool. It is a must dive.

Great video. I am so getting this housing for my iPhone. By far, the best dive location I have dove is in the South Pacific, Moreau / BoraBore, etc.... you will not be disappointed.
Been diving for a few decades. Great intro for a a great piece of kit. Have been looking for something like this from a reputable company; thanks for sharing. Nearby to Cozumel is Belize with numerous great diving excursions. I second the posting about Kona coast.
Will be going to Vietnam for a dive trip in November.

What a great video! I'm a new diver as of this year (40 dives, 5 Caribbean trips, including this very ship wreck in Cozumel!). I have been looking at another dive computer, as I currently own the Apple Ultra and use it as my daily watch and computer. In addition, I've been looking at a different camera and housing. I currently have the GoPro Hero 11. I am wondering if this would meet both of my needs for 1) having a backup computer while diving and 2) having a better camera for photo and video. I am upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro and had been looking at the Divevolk...but I honestly may be sold on this housing now. Thanks so much for the video!
you should go to Bonaire to do some scuba diving. its one of my favorite places to go. been to Cozumel, Cancun and by far bonaire is my favorite

With an automatic vacuum seal system, I’m amazed by the accessible price point for the Oceanic+ housing. Almost every competing manufacturer of UW systems [over-]charge ≈ $300 for this feature, *alone*. 😮Yes, for housings designed to protect camera gear of equal or lesser value and complexity. Fantastic, comprehensive and digestible preview of the product.
A great dive trip is Coco View on Roatan, Honduras. Truly a dive circus. Boat dives to really cool sites, seahorses everywhere, and a shipwreck on the front porch shore dive. It's great fun.

I live in Houston, so Cozumel is my favorite place to I dive there quite a bit …… and I bought an Apple Watch Ultra just to see if I could crack it at 130 feet D33p on the Santa Rosa wall in Cozumel and it held up next time I take it to 150 too see what happen … and congratulations on getting Dive certified welcome to the family
OMG! We are in Kaui right now, learning how to dive! We just were discussing photography, dive computer and the apple watch…and BAM - your video appeared, how apropos! Love your diving gear outfit! We almost chose maldives for our destination to learn …. So go there or indonesia/phillapines for your next dive, or the big island for a closer destination/nice clarity. Cozumel may be our next desitination - what dive company did you use?
I use the SeaLife iPhone case when I dive. I am hopefully getting my insta360 next week and I will start to use that that way my dad can use the iPhone case

Excellent product, the only thing missing now is an extra base platform for extra video lighting. Lighting is what makes the colours of the reef come alive - so next apple project and Oceanic one is this - create video light for this underwater housing and air integration pod on back on tank. That's the only reason I am not buying the watch right now.
I'm looking for some third party options! You can totally mount a base onto it!

Very interested in this. I have been using a GoPro for dives which is great for video, but pretty bad for photos. To have a device that does great photo, video and can serve as a backup dive computer is great. Looking forward to seeing iPhone 15 Pro camera enhancements, this paired with the new iPhone camera is probably amazing.
I preordered the Iphone 15 Pro Max and now i want to order this case and see what images or video I can get.

Try diving with wet set diving in puerto Morelos just south of the hotel zone of Cancun . Best dive shop I have used & I have been diving yearly from Cancun up north to tulum in the south

You should check out Anthony’s Key in Roatan Honduras! Best reef I’ve ever dove and an amazing place to stay. They also do open water shark dives which is an incredible experience.

So when you have this housing but not an apple watch ultra. Does that still work as a dive computer? In ither words, im asking if the housing has any depth sensor.

Diving in Cozumel...3mm. I've worn longsleeve and full pants rashguards only, as well. I didn't even bring my wetsuit on my last trip in August.

How about the red filter usually needed to restore the blue hues to oceans? I know for pro has the pop lenses. But would this have a feature? I heard the white balance and color but doesn’t seem like a true red lens to allow the phone to not over saturate videos with edits (I usually like raw as much as possible to leave post editing for later). Just curious.
For this is a $400 casing computer part, I feel it may have it included just unaware.

I was debating about a new go pro but I was in a river the other day with my iPhone and realized “wow. The iPhone can film amazing videos even underwater” so instead of investing into a new go pro with all the things… I want once case for my phone that can do it all. So this seems wonderful.
Now what is the main differences between these models and say a 120$ one somewhere else. I feel this may be playing a brand game (like apple versus another phone)
Does this specific maker just hold up with across the board great features? The lock lasts a whole (not like after 3 years it leaks which I’ve seen some Amazon variants have)

Justine, welcome to the world of diving. I’ve been diving for 25 years now. This isn’t the first diving case for an iPhone but I do think it’s the first that turns your phone into a dive computer and that’s pretty cool. There’s a fair amount of stuff you have to account for versus a dedicated device, but the benefit is that you immediately have your content every dive. Any word on price for this kit?
Yes! I think the combo of integrated vacuum plus dive computer and under $500 is pretty awesome!!

Is this device available in the UK 🇬🇧 market? BTW, some of the best diving I’ve done has been off the coast of Western Australia 🇦🇺 and in the coral sea off the coast of Queensland.
