Good to see the main sessions back. Agree with the Coros experience. The data is crisp and efficient. Love tracking it. I would say the strap is essential, having had time without it and now back with one.
Really excited to see this series. I am focusing a bit more on the half marathon. I've got one targeted for January. I sort of expected your workouts would include longer, more half marathon based efforts. I know you need some raw speed but the half marathon and the workouts you did seem more 10K focused. Is there a reason you are doing that (out of curiosity)? For me, I need to build that speed endurance and get used to running at a slightly uncomfortable pace for a longer period of time, which is something I think I've been lacking. As usual, love your work and running ethic. I'll be following along!
Another great video👍. Great to follow on the journey with another training series 💪. Along the lines of nutrition, do you have a go-to recovery drink of choice that doesn’t leave a bloated feeling on the stomach but refuels you nicely for the next session? Many thanks.
I’m not sure exactly where the Alicante 1/2 goes but there are some very hilly parts of the city (like around the castle). If it stays along the coast though it should be mainly flat. It’s never really cold or even cool there!
Well done Andy, your well able to suffer. I dread the tempo runs where I'm from as we have not real flatish safe place to do them. Just rolling country roads to contend with.
Great video good luck and jumping back into it. That’s what I love about my Coros and I have an old Apex pro. Yesterday I was up in the mountains on a real rugged. It’s a 5 mile loop little over 1000 feet again. I did two loops got back on my computer and it looks like one line in a couple times or I probably feared it off but it’s great and I think the heart rate is pretty decent too
I Think I’m going to do that hill workout this afternoon. Thanks for that idea Andy. I love how you’re just gradually settling into your run schedule again and educating your audience on not just going 0-10 in the first view weeks. You’re such a valuable voice in a sea of noise
Good effort! The half marathons in Spain are great. I didn't run the one in Alicante, but the city is nice, although maybe not that flat as some of the other Spain half marathons :D I ran Valencia this year, so it's as flat as it gets :D
Thanks for the breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Go.....Andy....Go.....¡¡¡¡¡The Alicante half Marathon is coming!!!!!. Like. Happy week.
Andy's off to Benidorm! Looking forward to following this one.

Solid first week back Andy 👍I've used the old coros pace 2 for for two years now I love it coupled with the heartrate monitor.
Thanks mate! Glad you’ve had good success with coros too!!
Excited to see how the plan is going to go! Great vid as always mate.
Thanks buddy!

Thanks buddy! Rolling roads is amazing… kind of 😂 but if they’re not safe that’s not good!

That’s amazing feedback for the coros… it seems to be really good at delivering solid GPS results 👊
Good work! If you are running in Alicante you might want to start heat acclimation
Thanks! Yes absolutely!

@Sallyannsworld thank you so much 🙏
Love how TH-cam kept popping up Garmin adverts during this one 😂
No way 😂😂

Thanks! Yes this one is a bit hillier but I’m looking forward to having a holiday there after the race as well!
Gotta say, in a week where we've had Storm Bert, that gel review was not the wind update I was expecting 😆.
Brilliant 😂
That watch looks far more complicated to navigate in the moment than the Garmin.
It’s very simple 🤝 I just accidentally rolled the dial up on the side after I paused it in the workout and fluffed it up 😂
