My friend did a little photo Project about the origin of the trash in one beach in Quintana Roo. They found trash from China, Jamaica, the states.... You name it. Here in Costa Rica the plastic in the ocean,and the river's is at a critical stage.I like your advice about cleaning up trash.Us surfers,and fisherman are the guardian's of the sea.Take this responsibility seriously, the ocean is life on planet earth.

Could you guys do a video about making money in you 20s, finding a career you're passionate about, business skills etc? I travelled a lot in my early 20s and now I'm feeling very lost because I don't want a typical 9-5 but have no idea how to start.
The problem about plastic isn't just people who let their stuff on the beach. Trash is also carried away by the wind or by people just leaving it behind and goes down rivers and then oceans. But it's just the consequences of our own plastic consumption. We have no way to know for sure what happens to our trash and our recycling. The recycling system is not great. In most countries, the recycling is send in Malaysia to be recycled there because it's cheaper. It was China before but they said not anymore and now countries have no way of treating their recycling... Offshoring is always cheaper so we have no industries in our own countries to do the job... So try to reduce your waste as much as possible step by step. To those wandering how to do it : -buy bulk items like pasta, rice, legumes, seeds and nuts, same for veggies -drink loose tea leaves and don't buy those packaged individually, it's cheaper too. -don't use plastic bags, paper bags or totes are the best - travel and eat with your own cutlery and water bottle made in stainless steel - swap paper towel for washable microfiber cloth - swap wipes for washable ones - try making our own cosmetics and detergents or find a store where you can refill your empty bottles of dish soap and laundry soap -if given the choice, take a product packaged in glass or cardboard box and not in plastic. -use shampoo bars and bar soaps -if you have a product you really need or like wrapped in plastic, try to look for a greener alternative on the internet or making it yourself like cookies 😉 Hope that helps those wanting to start a new journey! 😊
