Arindam was one-year senior than me in Hare School. He was not only a brilliant student and he was a guy of many other qualities. He wrote, painted, sculpted and what not? He totally disappeared from our vicinity for a long time after his schoolhood. We used to hear some stray news about him. Then he suddenly emerged from Hawaii. I was also shifted permanently from Kolkata to Delhi. He retired and started visiting India, especially Kolkata, frequently, often lecturing on Sankhya and other serious subjects. Here he focused his lecture on Fame. I am not a competent person to critically discuss the points discussed in his lecture. But I was surprised to see and believe that Arindam had completely lost his voice. Don't know whether it was temporary or permanent loss. Like his other qualities, he possessed a mellifluous voice and used to sing. Arindam, I missed your voice.
