- Alistair kept it local with a visit to New Lanark to see the 4th tallest waterfall in Scotland at the Falls of Clyde and the roaring waterfall of Corra Linn. The Falls of Clyde full circuit is a gentle and relaxing woodland walk, taking in the spectacular sights of the waterfalls and rapids and the old town of New Lanark. There's even a small castle hiding amongst the trees to try and spot from the opposite bank, before getting a closer look from the same side.

Nice one Alastair! A favourite of mine in the winter time! Cheers paul
Thanks Paul, a great change from the mountains
Hi Alistair, Well done. Excellent cinematography. Looks as if an Autumn visit would probably be a great time to go. Many thanks, Charlie.
Thank you for the complement Charlie, it’s very much appreciated. I’ve been in Winter when the falls were even more violent however I definitely preferred this one, more colour in the landscape.
Nice video Alistair! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Calum
Nice one Alistair , i've done the circuit quite a few times with the dog . Decent fallback walk when the hills are a no go..Its not far from me ..cheers Stevie
Thanks Stevie, I’ve been a couple of times myself and always enjoy it. Love the roar of the river and the sense of being away from it all, even though you’re not really.
Been a few times over the years and the mills and falls are certainly impressive.
Never done the loop though, probably the next time I go.
It’s great seeing the falls from the opposite side as the viewing points are almost directly on top of them, giving a brilliant perspective you don’t get from the other side.
