The red light is just a different light to do paperwork or see inside without impeding what you can see outside

I got a 2017 ford explorer with the front push bars 1 spot light and the antenna's still on the car. 5% tint windows. It's crazy how people react around me

Yeah same with me two squad cars pulled over let me by looked frustrated. Semi trucks moved to right lane when I'm behind them. Cashier at gas station told me customers were afraid I was pulling up on them. I pulled over to slower lane to let cars passed. But neither of them went over 55 mph so I was leading traffic. I am looking for a 2017+ 5.7 awd so i can make a Hellcat killer
Here are a few pointers coming from someone who has owned a 2004 Ford CV PI and now a 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit 5.7 rear wheel drive. Crown Vics will last you a very long time. I purchased mine in 2010 with 77k miles and 10 years later, 148k, and no real issues. Was a very good car. Now performance the Dodge Hemi is by far more in horse and torque. Huge differences. Now if you buy a former police vehicle with equipment still attached, learn from someone who is an LEO and dont display that equipment as you are drawing attention to yourself. Even me, it was a curse per se but now owning the Dodge with the rims that give it away, it is not as obvious. You have impersonators out there, straight up wierdos who develop this behavior believing they are law enforcement with real weapons, fake badges or real ones on an ego trip. Go become a real law enforcement officer and see there is more to pulling someone over. Last, people love cop cars, and they are built to last. You treat them right and you will get some serious mileage and use.
I just want it bc it looks cool nd got a lot more power than I thought and awd is a must when u live up north and not to mention ppl would gt out of ur way even if u drive normally and I feel like some cops might not like it but some cops may be chill or might not even pay u any attention bc u look like one of them unless they actually see u driving it but yes ppl who impersonate are straight up weirdos but most ppl get these purely for enjoyment bc it is kinda cool to role around in a retired cop car
A Honda Civic would out perform one of these easily

Crown Vics have a timeless look in my opinion
U should get the charger for fun and to be faster but the crown vic is more reliable and durable but if u take care of the charger it’ll last as long as the Vic

These are the best looking cop cars out there today but nothing will ever beat the old p71 crown vic and the old 80s and 90s 9c1 caprices. Very sexy cars especially the crown vic in my Opinion one of the best looking and best aging car out there so do the box caprice 9c1s. Neither are very fast but very reliable unlike the chargers and new ford police interceptors

I would buy a police charger just to make it look civilized, put some mods on it, spoiler and side skirts.

Honestly I would get the Charger Pursuit unless you are in need of more storage space or if you want to dual purpose the Explorer for off-road duties
Get both of them for 16k
8k each but if you want the explorer get the eco boost twin turbo
I love my Charger, spite the stereo, Metra issue, no mechanical issues at all I have driven her cross country 7 times, no engine or trans issues at all, however I installed an aftermarket stereo causing an array of problems
