  • A tutorial on setting up a wireless network using a Linksys wireless router in Packet Tracer. How to set up a wireless network for the Cisco CCNA.
In part 2, I focus on configuring IP addresses on the Internet (WAN) interface, the Wireless (LAN) interface and the DHCP server scope. I also configure the SSID name and the SSID broadcast setttings. I discuss and demonstrate the process of being disconnected and reconnecting to the wireless router.

hey man Ive got a question. If the WAN IP address is 192.168.1.2, and the DG is 192.168.1.1, and the LAN IP is 192.168.0.1, will the hosts on the LAN have their Default gateway as 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1? If the hosts use 192.168.0.1 as their default gateway, does that mean there are technically 2 defualt gateways on the router? 1 for WAN and one for LAN?

How can I get the 192.168.1.0 network to connect to the 2 network. I have tried static routes to no avail.

Did you find out a way bro? I was thinking that could be done by changing the router to an Access Point (of couse, they would be part of the same network now).

      @@javierfernandez1126 you cant , because router 1.0 doesn't know about network 2.0
