Already for the next trip with you and I man! That was a fun day!!😊
RIP cameraman Ron ❤
That has to be the best looking Game warden I’ve ever seen
Agreeeed! hahaha
You ain't lying vitamin she was gorgeous seemed very down to earth cool she could get the vitamin
Moving to Chipley FL area next tear, and I can't wait to fish that area.
That’s one thing I miss about living up north is catching monster Northern Pike!!! I am surprised the chain pickerel are considered not good eating!
Haha i just love the big D got so excited about how hot the game warden was AND commented about it! Haha you stay you Big D.
Awesome video, appreciate you sharing the experience! Wild to think pickerel are in Florida, I had no idea. I’m in southern indiana and we don’t have pickerel or pike but we have a couple lakes that are stocked with Muskie by our DNR.
We have had 3 or 4
30 inch pike make it all the way to boat on a little teardrop ice fishing jig with a wax worm when the see the boat they shake and flip it out of the jaw
LOL vitamindee. I like it!
She had a good attitude, like the majority of the game wardens I have dealt with over the years. She definitely was easy on the eyes as well. 😍 That was one huge Pickerel as well! Just came across your channel and you definitely have earned my subscription! Tight lines!
Welcome to the #family! 🚀🚀🚀😇
I'm so glad that I found your channel and that you are posting again. You gave me the will to test blackwater again. All I have pulled from there are some cats, a gar, and a small gator but I'm gonna kayak to the basin soon and test it out. Much love for you and your family, Dee.
I fish all the time in a yak. Catch picks, bass, trout, cats. Can be tough though
Topics? How bout' that Warden!!
That was one cool and professional Wildlife Officer. From my experience most of them are. And you were so right, they just got a job to do. Nothing personal. Enforcing the rules ensures that there is wildlife available for everyone to enjoy. Great video. This was my first experience with your channel. I subscribed.
You nailed it, brother! Thanks for being part of the #family

Since when does their office exist? I guess since the teetotalers and suffragettes needed a new hobby to lobby for.
Maybe around turn of the century, 19th to 20th. Probably a few decades later?
If you fish the dock lights at night across the river from that Bagdad bridge in Milton FL you'll catch a bunch of hudge Strippers. Go lil more towards the interstate in the winter at night and fish dock lights in deeper water
Great interaction with the law. This is what I like to see. Both sides did great.
She deserved a hair compliment, before asking her that!
Thanks for Repin Bro, 1st Brotha on the lakes , on video , showing others we can get it done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
I'm going to need that sandwich please. lol I can't begin to tell you how happy I am you're back! I hope to meet you one day!
it was a delicious sandwich for sure! Haha Glad to be back and glad to still have you in the #family ♥️ 🚀🚀🚀
Now that’s what I’m talking about, Dee! I see people do catch and cooks, they make a huge mess and then take a bite or two. You made some damn lunch! That looked excellent! Keep up the great work!
Thanks brother! Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see ya around the comment section more! #family

NO MATTER what the conditions, O always remember the old saying. " A BAD DAY FISHING is better than a GOOD DAY AT WORK".
That was the biggest chain pickerel I've ever seen. Awesome catch man.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing.
DEE AND RON TOGETHER LETS GO GREAT VIDEO
Let’s Goooo!!! 🔥
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Keep'em coming.
Nice fish and all but DAMN. I never got stopped by a game warden that made those pants look quite that amazing!!
It's great to see you and Ron out together again. For a second I thought maybe we'd see you and Mrs FWC out together. I'd be happy to show her my trout. Nice pickerel too. I've never caught one, I'd like to.
HAHAHAHA good times with Ron! Glad you enjoyed it! #family

Dee, I’m glad you are back doing what you like to do in your free time. CMR is so funny 😊😂
Yesss! So much happier being out in the water! Ron is a blast!
Good day! Glad your posting again
So very glad to be back! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Awesome, thanks for sharing…..
Fishing brings us all together! love your content
Those sandwiches look 😍 amazing!!. Great video, keep up the good work 👏.
I would think those pickerel would be like walleye. In Tennessee the walleye have very white meat. It most be the water. Ron's wife said they were grainy. They put some pickerel in some lakes around here. I caught one several years ago that was 5" long. Have not caught anymore or heard about any being caught. The walleye are great.
I love seeing the excitement of people catching fish 🐟 😍
You should try and find some kids that don't get this kind of experience.
It changes lives forever once you get into fishing..
Chef Dee strikes again. Another great video Dee, looking forward to your next podcast with CMR. Keep up the great work.
Glad to see you in my neck of the woods. When I was a boy, in the 1980s, it was nothing to catch 27" jackfish. During the 1990s, they were almost wiped out of Blackwater and Yellow Rivers because the FWC introduced grass carp that destroyed the native grasses jackfish use to spawn.
I've never seen someone filet a jackfish like you did. I always use the 5 piece approach. I disagree with Ron. When properly fileted, there are no bones, large fillets of meat, and the meat is almost candy-like in its sweetness. I always do a simple yellow cornmeal coating before deep fat frying. This fish is too sweet and mild to withstand heavy seasonings.
Keep up the fantastic content.
It was all trial and error for me. Not a bad fish to eat and made a DANG GOOD sandwich! I'll be trying that again! #family
-D
I need to fix my boat motor and get out there. Try to get some sheepshead coming outta the rivers near Jim’s fish camp.
Having those fish spit the treble hook that many times, you may want to sharpen the hooks. Also, if you're using mono, braid has no stretch and may be a good choice to increase your hookups.
Just a fyi Change to a 25lb mono and you won't lose so much. Braid isn't "meant" for spinning rods. If you come to New Mexico lmk I'll take you to some of the best trout or stripers
My Man! Somehow you popped up on my channel guide, so glad it did, probably because of Cameraman Ron.
Really enjoyed the video and look forward to looking back until your next post.
I live in the Ham, Birmingham that is, and I would gladly pay to fish with you if we could get checked out by the smoking hot FWC chick! Just kidding of course!
Seriously, I really enjoyed the video and would enjoy hanging out and talking fishing, may even try to get my fishing drone together that I used in Sunnyside Beach Fl years ago that I would send out to the second sand bar to catch maceral.
Keep up the great vids!
We call them Jackfish in Carolina. Never tried to eat one.
Pike and pickerel are not the same thing. Pickerel are light-colored fish with dark markings. Pike are dark fish with light markings. Pike also grow much larger. A 4 to 5 lb pickerel is notable but it takes about a 10+ lb pike to be considered large
Lol seen this video on CMR but seen this pop up so has to see your view you should have put that part CMR had to put his boat license on before leaving the slip !! Lol I’m a regular on the CMR !!! Great content on both channels !!!
In N.J. those are average Pickeral...we get them over 30 inches on the norm ..u wanna know where...hit me up!
remember folks, a week without vitamin Dee is a week without sunshine.
That hammer handle pike, we use that as bait, full size,,, 🤣👍.
Hahaha Nice! Lol Thanks brother! #family
-D
Nice catches but up here in New York we call them chain pickerel or grass pike and most of us don't eat them !
I stumbled across this video, awesome video bud. And you have a new subscriber and follower...not sure what part of Florida you are in. But if you are in the panhandle area. You should hit lake talquin up. And the river below the dam. The stripe bass will be running soon
What’s up, Mike! I’m in the panhandle! I live in Pensacola! Could I drop a kayak in there?
Thanks for subbing and joining the #family !
Hope to see you in the comment section more! 🚀🚀🚀

@@VitaminDeeTV yessir. In the lake most definitely. At the dam I wouldn't. That's a very dangerous place when the gates are open. When water is flowing from the lake to the river. But you could definitely bank fish it
Good vid. That was a nice pickerel. You and Ron need to go out to 3 mile bridge. Go for some bull reds. Have a great afternoon
We’ve done it before but we’re unsuccessful. I guess you gotta get them on the right day. Stay tuned. More to come! #family
-D
Good afternoon great video wht was the name of the lure u was using to catch tht big chain pickerel
Great video VitaminDee. In all seriousness, if you're a Florida resident (I think you are), you hunt and fish? Yeah bro, get a lifetime gold sportsman. I got mine about 4 years ago and it's a wonderful feeling to not have to worry if I renewed my license before hunting/fishing. If you have any children get if for them when they're young. I think it's $300 for a child under 4 yrs of age and around $1100-1200 for an adult. Worth every penny!!
Another added benefit of having a florida lifetime gold sportsman license is if florida creates any new hunting or fishing stamp in the future? You're grandfathered in. Just in case they enact a small game stamp or redfish stamp in the future...
Let’s go Dee! That was a stud chain! See ya out there soon.
Yeah it was! Glad you enjoyed it! #family
-D
Great video Dee! Awesome collab with CMR. Other than the fish looking so good, that mustard must’ve made that sandwich.
I’m not always a picky eater, but if I’m cooking, I’m going to make sure I enjoy it! 🤙
@@VitaminDeeTV As you should, stay real always!
We have northern pike & chain pickerel up north. They are completely different fish and chain pickerel are never called pike.
Agreed! Thanks for watching! #family
-D
That sandwich looked delicious
Pike are a pain in the A-- to fillet. The Y bones are a mess to remove. But they are great action fish to hunt.
Nice Pickerel ! Grew up in N.Y. caught quite a few pickerel but not that big. Good Job. Live now in SRB have to find some Fresh Water Areas.
Nice! Yeah ive heard of them getting big but never seen one this size! #family
We never hooked up and went for bulls at 3mb, when you get a chance we can hit the dock lights on BW....thats a great time too!!!!
Jaibo, Holler at me on Facebook! Let's set something up! Damarice Sims
"I'm gonna get outta here" that was the shut down!
Nice Catch ! I used to follow Ron and a buddy he used to fish with all the time but his buddy deleted his TH-cam I believe? Do those Pickerel have a lot of y bones like a pike?
very boney! but made a dang good sandwich! haha
What style of water land you have on in this video
Hi, I just subscribed to your channel good attitude & good work and was going to ask what brand and model are the fishing shoes you use? Thank you.
Found ya thru CMR and the clickbaiters. Love the content and love your swag. Really believe you just picked up another follower. Tight lines and God bless.
Thanks, Kelly! Glad to have you as part of the #family Hope to see more of you in the comments!
-D
Pickerel is a bycatch when walleye fishing up north. They hit and fight like a freight train. Too many bones to make them worth eating.
Hey Mr. D. Are you going to go out with the boys on the kayak and catch a bluefin this year?
Who are "The Boys"? ...and when is this trip happening?
@@VitaminDeeTV bama beach bum and bearded brad went out on kayaks last year and caught black fin tuna. Cool vids!
I’d like to see a demo on how to fillet that Peckeral.
Nice Video and very positive!!! Looking forward to the next one.
Dang Bro, never seen a chain pickerel that big!! Good job!!
Good video brother. Glad see you smiling and enjoying life after dark days. Stay strong. Always forward
Glad to be back and happy! Nothing standing in my way from being great! Glad you enjoyed it! #family
-D
Glad to see you still at it man. I didn't get a chance to go last year, hoping to make up for it a bit in 2023. I keep hoping to run into you at some point, maybe this will be the year. I havent had much luck in recent years so hopefully you can give me some pointers. I use to catch fish left and right during my high school/early college days, but that certainly hasnt been the case in recent times. I think i saw you catch some sheephead on the bay bridge pilon's a while back, i tried the same spot and nothing lol. The nature of the beast i suppose.
I gotchu, Jay! #family

Keep pushing my guy
RIP cameraman Ron😢 I also work at GE and a big fan of your videos, keep em coming!!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
That's the Officer that came out when some Hoosier Karen tried to run me off the beach surf fishing at 38c in Navarre.
She was awesome. Told the Karen to get to stepping.
Niiice! She deserves a raise for that! Haha 👏👏👏
Keep fishing I don't get to go fishing and very much I'm too old too much handicapped I'm 75 going to be 76 April 30th. I envy you guys being able to go out there fishing all the time. Keep pushing for me.
Take it easy Charles! Love you brother!
-D
I'm not sure about Pickerel but Northern Pike are delicious. The reason they get a bad name is they have a Y bone that is difficult to remove for some people, myself included
Look up boneless fillet for that pickerel aka pike , Northern, hammer handle. Wifey fillets the fish and never got a bone from a pike...because she is that good!
I been waiting for some one to do what your doing. Fishing with other youtubers. Keep doing it
Bro, I just get the sportsman gold. I add gulf reef fish angler, and whatever other free stuff is offered just in case. Comes with WMA, fresh, salt, hunting - everything but the federal migratory permit.
It's a nice pike but when you catch em over 40" that little guy we toss back (slot) so it can breed and get big
Pickerel are a smaller subspecies! A nice catch here in Florida! Thanks for watching J

Love your chanel.... I would like to hear more onc equipment and set up of the boat.
2021 OldTown Big Water PDL 136 has a Lowrance finder 👍
no mustard, I would switch it to tarter sauce rather than mayo, also would use lettuce too.
Pike is great, you just have to eat around the bones. When you fillet them, you can then cut out the Y bones and you then have a boneless fillet. Great eating.
Whoever says Pickerel aren't good eating has never eaten one. As for the FWC rep, dam, she's cute I'd of asked her out !😄😄
Dude!!!! You did pretty much exactly what I do with pickerel except the mustard. I even put the bread and butter chips on. I usually use those Martin potatoe bread hoagie rolls. And that dnr chick was pretty dang cute.
Great catch, but mayo and mustard on fish? I'll pass on that. LoL
Yes that game warden was 🔥
Don’t knock it until you try it! Haha
Thanks for showing me that even though it’s the time of year you can still catch some quality fish thanks again 10:06
Good question! I would have tried also.
Great video man. Love the ccc. Chain pickerel are highly underrated. Keep it up man
Great Video as always D! You and CR definitely need to do more content! Maybe on next pod cast ya"lll can compare Fishing to Hunting.. Hope you release an hunting catch and cook.
Great idea! I’ll bring it up and see where it goes. 🤙🤙🤙
The only game wardens I've ever run across are old and grizzled
Right! That’s why I asked her that! Lol 😂
DUDE! That was an awesome pickerel! I love to catch them, but handling them can be dicey… slime rockets! Great day on the water for winter.
When you do a lot of saltwater fishing, you notice that EVERYTHING is pokey or has sharp teeth! So pickerels aren’t that intimidating. Thanks for watching, brother!
-D
You're right. Smokin!! Why is it that the best part of a woman is when they're walking away? I could watch her walk away all day.🥰
Hahaha! Rather watch her walk towards me! BUT HEY!!! THATS JUST ME!!! HAHAHA
@@VitaminDeeTV I'm an a$$ man!
That's a HUGE chain pickerel sir!!!! How about discussing your past as far as work history and what got you into fishing and how early on in age it was for you. Location you grew up in and so on.......
Thats a great idea! should I do that on my channel or on Ron's podcast?
What type of lures do you use?
I use a variety of swim baits, paddle tails, mirror lures and soft dines. 🤙🤙🤙
Northern Pike is what we call those fish here in Colorado. I think they are one of the best tasting fish, but a lot of people won't even bother to try and clean and fillet them. I love catching them and eating them. Thanks for the video.
Northern pike and pickerel are 2 different types of fish. Very similar though. Pickerel rarely get over 24". Both are genus Esox though.
@@Chevy268 I had no idea. I really thought that they were the same. Thank you for informing me, I appreciate it! Now I'm off to look up genus Esox.
Dang D... that sandwich looked good but how did the fish taste? 😅😂 Worth ALL those spices and condiments there's no way you could even taste the fish.
The sandwich was full of flavor and overall good! I enjoy lots of condiments. they compliment the fish well.
Great video. Love the enthusiasm. Liked and subscribed
Awesome video! We should connect! Remember, you're just one cast away...
Man, those sandwiches looked good. Topics? Cooking and anything else you want to talk about, I am sure I'll be watching.
Sounds good, Mike! Glad to have loyal subscribers like you! #family

That FWC agent seemed a little smitten with you. And what a nice catch with that Chain Pickerel!
I figured she was cool enough to mess with! Haha No harm no foul, right? 😅
@@VitaminDeeTV that’s for sure!
