Such a nice video. Thanks for adding on to the post you made in patreon. This is indeed an important topic. I myself noticed that when buying my first higher grade shrimp it was pretty difficult finding someone you felt comfortable with. Doing research and finding a breeder that you feel comfortable with seems very important. Someone that answers your questions and is very open about the lineage of the shrimp was quite comforting in spending the hard earned money. And the results speak for themselves. And I have still great contact with that breeder.

I got scammed big time, I didn't even receive them! Lost just over £40 for 10 shrimp including postage and packing! They ignored my messages and now the emails are being returned! It's put me off ordering anything live through the Internet that's for sure.

Amazing video. I love it. That first fancy tiger was so low grade. Most wont even pay $1 for it
The problem is someone like me that doesn't know much about it and takes the breeders word for it. There should be more people who educate on what the standard for a particulate shrimp is.
Once i saw an interview with the breeder of the “dancing man” line, and she said the shrimp hobby was degraded by indiscriminate market in therms of quality gradings, because the massive sales by people with no respect of this hobby is the result of lowest prices and the lowest quality ... but we have to remember that even if you have a thousands dollars pair in doesn’t mean that your babies will be an exactly copy of the parents!! This quality lines involves years of selecting breeding. Thats why the circle of high quality breeders is very very small. Unfortunately thats the reason i don’t have any shrimps right now, because the quality in my country is very low and the prices are scams!!!
I love this video. I've been keeping shrimp since 2000 but have lots of medium grade shrimp. But venturing into the ultra high grade and pricy shrimp. Some shrimp I paid are ridiculous price. This is an awesome eye opening video

You r lucky my friend u r in Europe in Australia it's very i mean very hard to get nice ore high grade shrimp the only guy i know he got most of good 1 is in Adelaide witch is 1000 km a way from me

@@ShrimpTime I know ..I know some guys from Sydney went to Singapore and Thailand.The thing is Australia have very strict laws about importing and exporting live animals..and that's make it much ,much harder :(
@@Manbros22 Yea I know the problem. In EU it also exist. The funny thing is that if You know how to pack shrimps, they are very safe in jurney :)

@@ShrimpTime thankyou. Any info crystal shrimp variant can breed at 26 celcius and up temperature?
@@Cleeon Not a good idea. To warm for them in my opinion.
@@ShrimpTime sometimes when summer come, the peak reached 26 celcius here or maybe 27, i see they're still breeding and look happy, but maybe with less shrimplet as survivor, maybe need more oxygen?
@@Cleeon high temp will make problems with oxygen desolving in water. You can try to fight with that with oxydators, higher water surface movment ect. Shrimps will carry egg shorter, eat more, grow faster,, survival rate will decrease,
