    Thanks for these excellent tips! I'm always trying to figure out how to stop myself continuing to fiddle with almost-done pieces, so having some clear advice is extremely helpful. I'm really looking forward to Paint it Big.

    Hi Lewis, thank you first ! it's always deeply interesting to follow your process. A question : you often talk about "making marks". You noted here "oil pastel". But fine marks, with what kinds of tools do you make them ? in acrylics or in oil. Thanks in advance for your answer.
