I've listened to quite a number of child prodigies on you tube - this girl w only 6 when she played this peace and she is "up there" with the best. She should already have been famous. Someone - please market her even better than what you are doing!!!

Wow, it's not even the song or how she plays, but the way she smiles and how her face moves during the song.
You can tell she wasn't forced to play, but she absolutely loves it.
She loves to play and I think that's more important than talent.
But obviously she does have talent.

It amazing that she can play such song. Not just because of difficulty, but because of maturity needed to understand how to convey the sound across. Not only that, but at her age children are only really beginning to understand tonal hierarchies. Awesome.

I would consider her prodigy, not technically, but musically. She's definitely got something very special that many professional adults lack. It's like she is being led by music. She has a great ability to listen to the music, piano and herself which is something very amazing to do at this age. She will definitely master the technique soon. She is only 6 now.

Some children sit in front of the TV all day playing video games and collecting huge scores, fake coins, etc. Other children spend their time doing as this kid is doing. Hats off to the parents.

Well, It depends on how long she's been playing. If this is her second month playing the violin, then she is most definitely a prodigy! If it is her 3rd year, then I'd agree with you.

@clairenunavut As can be seen during her interview at Ellen DeGeneres's show it was actually her (Brianna) who "harassed" her parents to allow her to take some violin lessons after watching Karen Briggs.
