I've been using the scubas for over a year now and there is no comparison. They are way better than anything shown here in my opinion. They also come with a 5 year replacement guarantee. No questions asked.

Why do you keep promoting the BRS heater when the Eheim is also made in Germany and has a 3-year warranty? Nevermind, the answer is obvious; you sell the BRS heater for double the price of the Eheim. You even recommend throwing away the Eheim heater annually? Is this really what BRS has become?

a year late, but the bigger Eheim wattage ones are absolutely gigantic. --like 20" if I remember correctly for the 200w? too large for my sump

Digging the titanium BRS heater - fancy meets simplicity! I run and have had the Fluval M-series slim tube heaters for 2-3 years. Italian-made. $30-50 depending on wattage. Precise and reliable. Simple sealed turn dial. Temperature is always at 78°F plus/minus a decimal or two (like 77.8° or 78.1°). Love Bulk Reef Supply! 😁 Reason I began research in autumn 2020 after stumbling across your TH-cam channel then launched my first mixed reef in spring 2021! What great luck I’ve had ( 🤫 science-based solutions to inevitable issues! ) 😄👍🏼

IMO Aqua logic/ Ranco is the most reliable heater controller by a long shot. Been using one for years with no issues. Commercial grade is the route to go.

Jager on a ranco and checking with a calibration temperature probe has been the industry standard for years. Redundancy with the built in thermostat is icing on the cake.

Need help with IM. I made no adjustments from factory.
Bottom number always reads 77, Apex varies 1.5 degrees, why doesn’t the IM?
I guess ST means Set, What does AT mean.
Have 1 100w element. Does green light only light when element actually on?

Lord knows how you can review a heater. My experience is they mostly fail within a year.

A titanium heater is only as good as it’s controller and you guys stopped carrying the BEST heater controller on the market: the AquaLogic. Why?
We routinely see and hear that heater malfunction, in the ON state, is one of the of most common tank ending catastrophes. The AquaLogic controller is a rebranded Ranco with a titanium probe meant for our harsh environments. So you stop carrying it and then promote an Inkbird controller that is a known issue?
$200 on the Aqua Logic controller is some of the cheapest insurance in this hobby. C’mon man

Yup, using rubbishly cheap unsealed mechanical relays to turn on and off Mains AC at high current multiple times and hour is just plain silly and adds no layers of redundancy (inkbird or apex/hydros). Let alone the number of "titanium" heaters swelling and failing.....

Agree controller is so important. I'm looking at replacing my ink birds . Works for a while then breaks down and so unreliable. Looking at another brand will check the one you just mentioned thanks

BRS heater, heavy duty built to last, that's why it only has 3 year warranty.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
There is only one type of heater you should put in saltwater aquarium, and that is ceramic DC (Heli is the only one here). The idea that you would put mains AC into an aquarium you put your hands into in 2023 is just crazy ...
