Other than the speedo hole what is different with the rideplates on 22s? Factory plates look the same. Are the reverse arms different? Thanks for the video.
@@johnd5094 i had my dealer seal it since i had them do a service. Future reference for me, ill try different marine silicones until i find one i like.
@@Podchynok well i dont think they have the new ride plate done yet. the ride plate will help you stay connected and give you better control. most ride plates you may sacrifice a little top speed (like 1mph or 2mph) but for me personally, prefer staying connected and having better traction/control. so, really depends on your desires.
Brilliant video
Thanks!
I’ve currently got the stock ride plate but will likely be purchasing the new Kspeed plate once they finalize it!
Me too jd!!!!
They work on one for kawi 310 2022 version? If yes thsts great news for offshore riders!
@@imx3001 no it does not work for the new platform, but they are working on a ride plate that should be out very soon!
Sure looking forward to the new model plates. Have you guys heard any updates lately?
Brian, anytime now. This is just an assumption, but I think within a month. The guys at Kspeed makes sure things are perfect before releasing.
I love your work
Thanks Thiago! Feel free to share the videos.

good question. the speedo hole for sure. also, the reverse bucket and that whole setup is different so the ride plate is completely different.
Did you silicone the ride plate? Thanks
Hey steven. We didnt that day because we were doing all upgrades, tests and speed runs. But we did silicone it all now.
@@TheAdventureState What will be used to seal when the time comes? I know that JD used some on his intake grate, but it didn't hold. Thanks.

Would it do as good for 160lx?
The new gen fits differently. I know kspeed is working on one.
@@TheAdventureState I will have two 2024 lx arriving in the spring, with lower output does k speed riding plate make sense?
